ObjectsTo observe the clinical curative effect and advantages of the BL18 “Dragon-Tiger fighting” acupuncture treatment for sub-health insomnia, and provide clinical basis for classical acupuncture treatment of sub-health insomnia, and further promote the application and promotion of classical acupuncture techniques in modern clinics.MethodsUsing the central randomized method,254 insomnia patients who meet the inclusion criteria would be randomly divided into treatment group(127 participants)(BL18 “Dragon-Tiger fighting” acupuncture treatment + conventional acupuncture)and control groups(127 participants)(BL18 “mild reinforcing-reducing method” acupuncture treatment + conventional acupuncture),Actually we recruited 123 cases of treatment group and 126 cases of control group because the reason of time. The frequency of treatment: Once a day,2 days off after five times treatment,a total row of 4 weeks. The changes of PSQI score, the stagnation of liver Qi scale, and polysomnography were observed before and after the whole treatment. The follow-up was performed 3 months after the end of treatment to observe the long-term efficacy of acupuncture treatment.Results1.Subjective evaluation indicators:(1)Intragroup comparison:(1)PSQI scale scores: After treatment, the PSQI measures improved significantly in all terms of the PSQI except for the using of drugs(P<0.01);(2)the stagnation of liver Qi scale: both groups after treatment compared with before were significantly improved(P <0.01).(2)Comparison between groups:(1)PSQI scale score: The treatment group had obvious advantages compared with the control group in the sleep time,PSQI total score improved value(P<0.05).(2)the stagnation of liver Qi scale: About the improvement value, the two groups turns out to be the same.(P>0.05).2.Objective evaluation indicators:(1)Intragroup comparison:(1)Treatment group in sleep process: sleep latency,R phase latency, total sleep time and sleep efficiency, sleep structure ratio: N1%,N3%,and R%,as well as awakening times and awakening index had significantly improved(P <0.01).(2)The control group was significantly improved in all sleep processes, the proportion of sleep structure: N3%,and the number of awakening(P <0.01).(2)Comparison between groups: The treatment group was significantly superior to the control group in terms of sleep progress: latency in R period and total sleep time, sleep structure ratio: N1% and R%,and improvement value in sleep index(P<0.05).(3)Completed the PSQI scale score analysis of the PSG subjects: The comparison of the PSQI scale score improvement values found that the treatment group had obvious advantages in the improvement of the time of falling sleep compared with the control group(P<0.05).3.3 months follow-up:Comparison of PSQI scores: In the follow-up period of the two groups, the remaining indicators and total scores improved significantly compared with before(P<0.01).Between the two groups, the time of falling asleep, sleep quality, the improvement of sleep efficiency and total score was significantly better than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.The two acupuncture treatments can cure the sub-health insomnia, and good at reducing the symptoms of liver qi stagnation;2.From the perspective of subjective evaluation indicators, the BL18“Dragon –Tiger fighting” acupuncture can significantly improve the whole sleep quality, especially shorten the sleep latency, and is significantly better than the control group, but there is no obvious advantage in sub-health insomnia in the improvement of symptoms of liver qi stagnation;3.From the perspective of objective evaluation indicators, the acupuncture can significantly increase the total sleep time, reduce the number and duration of awakening, and have obvious advantages in converting light sleep to deep sleep;4.The long-term efficacy(3 months)of BL18 “Dragon-Tiger fighting” acupuncture in shortening the time of falling asleep, improving the quality of sleep, improving the sleep efficiency and reducing the total score of PSQI(3 months)was significantly better than that of the control group.
