The Strategic Development Of Township Hospitals

In recent years,with the adjustment and improvement of the public health medical system,medical industry begins to participate in the market competition activities under the influence of market economy.In the fierce competition for hospitals nowadays,some administrators,unaware of the advantages and disadvantages of their hospitals,have adopted some approaches for immediate interests,like buying expensive equipment without consideration of the long-term development,which shows the lack of the strategic analysis and management when facing complicated circumstances.Therefore,the realization of the strategic management of hospitals and its significance is a great task for the administrators.The thesis focuses on GZ community public health service center,teasing out its exterior environment and then making an analysis and investigation based on the theory and approaches of strategic management.Firstly,the analysis will be made based on the approach of PEST on macro environment like politics,economy,society and culture;meanwhile,the innovative exploration will be made for the present situation of the medical industry in Shaanxi Province and its inner environment to pinpoint the opportunities and threats,advantages and disadvantages that the public health centers are now facing.Finally,the thesis will summarize the human resources,financial status,tangible assets and intangible assets of GZ public health service center.By making a conclusion of 9 opportunities,7 threats,4advantages and 6 disadvantages for the community public health service center and using the SWOT analysis approach,the thesis formulates the strategic goal of the five-year-plan between 2017 and 2021.The short-term goal is to perfect the hospital structure based on the human-oriented concept.The mid-term goal is to establish distinctive medical system,perfect the main role of the service,extend the service of the hospital and train more doctors.The long-term goal is to safeguard the medical requirement of the residents in the community,establish the reputation of the hospital and standardize the community public health centers.Based on the research above,the thesis will make a suggestion for the township community public health service center to grasp the opportunities with its advantages,avert the potentialthreat,make a correct choice for its innovative development,change the management concept and mode,and make great efforts to setting up a standardized community public health centers and to providing better medical service for the people in the community.
