Objective This research investigates the current situation of occupational burnout,group emotional intelligence and psychological capital of surgical nurses,explores the relationship between group emotional intelligence,psychological capital and occupational burnout,and what factors of group emotional intelligence and psychological capital affect occupational burnout.The purpose is to provide scientific theoretical basis for formulating reasonable training methods of surgical nurses,to provide practical reference for effective training of surgical nursing managers,and to take pertinent intervention measures to reduce nurses' job burnout.Methods This study is a cross-sectional study.Using convenience sampling method,315 surgical nurses from a third-class first-class general hospital in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region were selected as the research objects.Questionnaires were used to investigate the emotional intelligence,psychological capital and job burnout of surgical nurses.Questionnaires included general information questionnaire of nurses,group emotional intelligence of nurses(individual emotional intelligence scale of nurses,team emotional integration ability scale),Chinese version of psychological capital scale of nurses,Mahalanobis occupational burnout scale.SPSS25.0 software was used for statistical analysis of data.Results 1.The average score of individual emotional intelligence of surgical nurses was 57.89 ± 8.62).The highest score was self-emotional evaluation(15.03 ± 2.49),and the lowest score was others' emotional evaluation(14.16 ± 2.94).There were significant differences in self-emotional evaluation scores of surgical nurses with different labor relations and monthly income(P<0.05).There was no statistical significance in other groups.Meaning(P > 0.05);Individual emotional intelligence total score,emotional use dimension score,the difference between departments has statistical significance(P < 0.05),the other groups have no statistical significance(P > 0.05);the formal preparation of surgical nurses,surgical nurses with monthly income of more than 10,000 yuan self-emotional evaluation is higher than other groups,gynecological nurses emotional use is higher than other departments,neurosurgery.The individual emotional intelligence of nurses was lower than that of other departments.The total average score of emotional integration ability of surgical nurses was(49.63 ± 9.46).The highest score was team learning sharing(14.62 ± 3.13),and the lowest score was conflict management(10.52 ± 2.25).There was no significant difference in scores among departments(P > 0.05).There were differences in scores of emotional integration ability of surgical nurses in different labor relations and classes.Statistical significance(P < 0.05),contract nurses,normal day nurses team emotional integration ability is higher.2.The total average score of psychological capital of surgical nurses was(86.20 ± 13.96).The highest score was self-efficacy(25.95 ± 4.67),and the lowest score was optimism(13.06 ± 2.60).There were significant differences in self-efficacy and hope dimensions among nurses with different monthly incomes(P < 0.05).There were no significant differences in total scores and dimensions of psychological capital among other groups(P > 0.05).The self-efficacy and hope dimensions of surgical nurses with monthly income of more than 10,000 yuan were higher than those of other groups.The scores of psychological capital,hope,resilience and optimism among different departments were significantly different(P < 0.05),but the scores of self-efficacy were not significantly different(P > 0.05).The hope,resilience,optimism and psychological capital of gynecological nurses were higher than those of other departments,while the optimism,resilience and psychological capital of neurosurgical nurses were lower than those of other departments.3.The total average score of burnout of surgical nurses was(59.30 ± 17.92).The highest score was personal accomplishment(38.77± 8.91),and the lowest score was depersonalization(12.73 ± 6.1).There were significant differences in scores of emotional exhaustion among nurses with different marital status,different labor-personnel relationship and different shifts(P < 0.05);there were significant differences in scores of surgical personal accomplishment among different monthly income levels(P < 0.05);there were significant differences in scores of burnout among surgical nurses with different labor-personnel relationship,different monthly income levels and different shifts(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference between the other groups(P > 0.05).The emotional exhaustion and job burnout of contract surgical nurses and shift-based surgical nurses in the past year were higher than those of the other two groups,and the emotional exhaustion of unmarried surgical nurses was higher than those of the other two groups.The personal accomplishment of surgical nurses with monthly income of more than 10,000 yuan was higher than that of other groups.The highest degree of job burnout was surgical nurses with monthly income of less than 2,500 yuan.There were significant differences in total scores of job burnout among departments(P < 0.05);there were significant differences in emotional exhaustion and personal accomplishment scores among departments(P < 0.05);and there were no significant differences in depersonalization scores among departments(P > 0.05).The degree of emotional exhaustion of neurosurgical nurses was higher than that of other groups,and the personal accomplishment of gynecological nurses was higher than that of other departments.The degree of job burnout of neurosurgical nurses was the highest.4.The correlation between psychological capital and job burnout of surgical nurses showed that emotional exhaustion score was negatively correlated with psychological capital and some of its dimensions(r =-0.126 ~-0.130,P < 0.01);depersonalization dimension was negatively correlated with psychological capital and its dimensions(r =-0.148 ~ 0.239,P < 0.01);personal accomplishment dimension was positively correlated with psychological capital and its dimensions(r = 0.290 ~ 0.417,P < 0.01).5.The correlation between emotional intelligence and job burnout of surgical nurses was analyzed.The depersonalization dimension was negatively correlated with self-emotional evaluation(r =0.158-0.158,P <0.01);the personal achievement dimension was positively correlated with individual emotional intelligence and other dimensions(r =0.212-0.285,P < 0.01);the emotional exhaustion score was negatively correlated with group emotions(r =0.154,P <0.01);and the depersonalization dimension was negatively correlated with team emotions(r = 0.154,P <0.01).Integration ability and its dimension scores were negatively correlated(r =0.141~-0.158,P <0.01);personal accomplishment dimension was positively correlated with team emotional integration ability and its dimensions(r = 0.286 ~ 0.374,P <0.01);job burnout was negatively correlated with team emotional integration ability and its dimension scores(r = 0.202 ~-0.283,P < 0.01).6.The multiple stepwise regression analysis of the dimensions of job burnout with the dimensions of psychological capital as independent variables indicated that optimism had a negative predictive effect on emotional exhaustion and depersonalization;optimism and resilience had a positive predictive effect on personal accomplishment;and the multiple stepwise regression analysis of the dimensions of job burnout with the independent variables of team emotional integration ability and individual emotional intelligence indicated that the group had a negative predictive effect on emotional exhaustion and depersonalization.Team emotional integration ability has a negative predictive effect on emotional exhaustion;multiple stepwise regression analysis of various dimensions of job burnout with team emotional integration ability and individual emotional intelligence as independent variables indicates that both of them have a positive predictive effect on personal accomplishment.Conclusion The burnout of surgical nurses in a third-class general hospital in Inner Mongolia is at a medium level,in which emotional exhaustion and depersonalization are at a high level.The optimistic and resilient dimensions of group emotional intelligence and psychological capital have a positive predictive effect on personal accomplishment,while optimistic psychological capital has a negative predictive effect on emotional exhaustion.Considering the characteristics of nursing management and training at present,it is suggested that besides training nurses' professional ability,attention should be paid to the improvement of nurses' emotional intelligence and psychological capital,and effective team emotional intelligence integration mechanism should be perfected in ward management,including establishing effective conflict management mechanism,establishing learning ward,fostering team spirit and team consciousness,and creating group emotional intelligence rules.Fan,build a good team atmosphere;help to reduce the degree of job burnout.
