| Objective: By understanding the present situation of uncertainty in illness, coping style, general self-efficacy and social support in patients with cervical cancer.Investigating the correlation between uncertainty in illness and coping style, general self-efficacy,social support in patients with cervical cancer was discussed. To analysis the influence factors of uncertainty in illness in cervical cancer. And to provide the empirical basis for future research and targeted intervention.Methods:1.To investigate 321 cervical cancer patients who met the inclusion criteria. They were investigated with the self-designed general information questionnaire,Mishel Uncertainty in Illness Scale for Adult,Medical Coping Modes Questionnaire,General Self-Efficacy Scale and Social Support Rating Scale.2.The database was established by Epidata3.1,and the data were recorded and verified by SPSS17.0.The general data of cervical cancer patients were analyzed by descriptive statistics, the level of uncertainty in illness and the characteristics of coping style were analyzed.General self-efficacy level and social support.Using Pearson correlation analysis of uncertainty in illness and coping style, general self-efficacy,social support. And using t-test,ANOVA,Multiple linear regression analysis was used to analyze the influence factors of uncertainty in illness in cervical cancer inpatients.Results:1.A total of 340 questionnaires and 321 valid questionnaires were collected, with an effective recovery rate of 94.41%.192(59.8%)patients with cervical cancer in Han and 129(40.2%)patients with cervical cancer in Uygur.2.The total score of uncertainty in patients with cervical cancer was(70.96 ±11.35).The scores of coping style were(19.60 ±3.41)for face,(16.85 ±2.61)for avoid,and(9.20±2.52)for Yield dimension. The total score of general self-efficacy was(24.87 ±6.13).The scores of social support were(8.55±2.90)for objective support,(26.01 ±4.92)for subjective support,and(7.96 ±2.09)for availability of support.3.The total score of uncertainty was positively correlated with the total score of coping style(r=0.191,P<0.01)and the Yield dimension(r= 0.401,P<0.01),but not with the dimension of face and avoid. There was a negative correlation between general self-efficacy(r=-0.206,P<0.01)and social support(r=-0.182,P<0.01).4.Univariate analysis of general data of patients with cervical cancer showed that: nationality, place of residence, occupation, education level, monthly income per family, financial burden, operation method, and treatment were satisfactory. There was significant difference in the total score of uncertainty in illness(P<0.05).The above univariate analysis included significant variables and coping styles, general self-efficacy and social support as independent variables. The multiple linear regression equation with the total score of uncertainty in illness as the dependent variable. Finally, the regression equations are: yield, financial burden, general self-efficacy,severity of conscious disease, avoidance, and face.Conclusion:1.A moderate level of uncertainty in illness is common among cervical cancer inpatients investigated in this study, and the main source of uncertainty in illness is uncertainty.2.There is a correlation between uncertainty in illness and coping style, general self-efficacy,and social support in patients with cervical cancer.3.Yield,financial burden, general sense of self-efficacy,conscious severity of disease, avoidance, face are the main influencing factors of uncertainty in illness of cervical cancer inpatients. |
