A Meta-analysis About The Therapeutic Effects And Complications Of Terrible Triad Of Elbow By Radial Head's Reduction Fixation Or Replacement

Objective:To explore the the therapeutic effects and complication after reduction fixation or replacement of Radial head of Terrible Triad of Elbow(TTE).Methods:"Terrible Triad"?"Terrible Triad+operation"?"Terrible Triad+treatment" were regarded as the search terms,which were searched in the PubMed Medline,Ovid Medline,Cochrane Database,Embase Database,and foreign journals'search engine of CNKI.The collected references were published in English from June 2007 to June 2017,which is about after radial head's reduction fixation or replacement operation of theTerrible Triad of Elbow.The methodological quality of the included studies was critically appraised and the data were extracted,and analyzed by the software of State 12.0 and Rev Man5.0.Results:The research included 6 references,including 211 cases,in these cases,appeared 101 complication cases appeared from them,complication rate 47.87%.Caused by complications,41 cases asked secondary operation,secondary operation rate 19.43%.common complication includes:45 cases heterotopic ossification,21 cases arthritis,9 cases ankylosis,8 cases nonunion/malformation,4 cases improper installation of prosthesis.The research main calculates patients'functional recovery,function scores,radiology estimates,and complication/secondary treatment under Radial head's reduction fixation or replacement for TTE,and found that reduction fixation has a great advantage on average extend angle(exist statistical differences),but replacement of Radial head has 4 items which get great advantage,the 4 items are rotating range,average flexion angle,flexion and extension range and MEPI(exist statistical differences),Conclusion:Radial head's replacement could be chosen as the main therapeutic method for TTE.
