Analysis Of Correlation Between Omentin And Diabetic Foot Disease

Objectives The level of omentin in patients with diabetic foot disease was detected by double-antibody sandwich method to investigate whether there is a correlation between omentin level and diabetic foot disease.Methods Since December 2016 to December 2017,according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,156 patients with type 2 diabetes were selected as subjects in all patients admitted to the Department of Endocrinology of Kailuan General Hospital,North China University of Science and Technology.According to WHO's diagnostic criteria for diabetes,all 156 subjects were divided into 2 groups.80 patients with diabetic foot disease were included in the case group(DF group);76 patients with pure T2 DM were designated as the control group(DM group).In addition,according to whether there was ischemia in the foot,80 patients in the DF group were divided into: IDF group(51 cases)and NIDF group(29cases).The Blood routine,biochemical parameters,and human omentin levels of all subjeccts were measured,and general clinical data and Wagner classification of all tester were recorded.All collected and recorded data were analyzed and calculated using SPSS20.0 statistical software.Results 1 Comparison between DF group and DM group: course of disease(15.04±3.92 vs 12.93±3.74,P<0.05),BMI(24.17±2.10 vs 23.01±2.50,P<0.05),FPG(10.65±4.46 vs 9.13±3.34,P<0.05),2h-PG(13.14±5.08 vs 11.27±4.65,P<0.05),HbA1c(9.47±2.74 vs 8.55±2.60,P<0.05);total Bilirubin(10.73±3.12 vs 13.03±4.00,P< 0.05),Omentin(779.44±111.94 vs 888.43±118.13,P<0.05).The average concentration of omentin in all T2 DM subjects was 832.54±126.99.Using this value as the exposure factor,the number of people in the DF and DM groups was counted and recorded,and then using the chi-square test to verify whether omentin was statistically related to diabetic foot disease.The results showed that the OR value was 0.392,P<0.05,indicating that the lower the omentin level,the higher the risk of diabetic foot disease.The Dependent variable(whether with Diabetic foot disease or not)and Covariates(disease duration,total Bilirubin,BMI,FPG,2h-PG,HbA1 c,Omentin)were introduced into the regression model.The results showed disease course(OR 1.168,P<0.05),BMI(OR 1.269,P<0.05),2h-PG(OR 1.082,P<0.05),total Bilirubin(OR 0.844,P<0.05),Omentin(OR 0.991,P< 0.05).2 Comparison between IDF group and NIDF group: HbA1c(10.06±2.98 vs 8.43±1.90,P<0.05),total Bilirubin(10.15±2.89 vs 11.76±3.30,P<0.05),Omentin(737.77±105.90 vs.852.74±81.26,P<0.05).The average omentin concentration in the DF group was calculated to be 779.44±111.94ng/L.This value was used as an exposure factor,to count the number of people in the DF group and the DM group,and then the scores of omentin and diabetic foot disease were verified by the chi-square test to confirm if there were some relations.The results showed that the OR value was 0.114,P<0.05,indicating that the higher the Omentin level,the lower the risk of Ischemic Diabetic Foot disease.The dependent variable(whether or not with Ischemic Diabetic Foot disease)and the covariates(total bilirubin,HbA1 c,omentin)were introduced into the regression model,and the results showed: omentin(OR 0.988,P<0.05).It declared that Omentin level is a protective factor for ischemic diabetic foot disease.Conclusions 1 Omentin was negatively correlated with diabetic foot disease.indicating that omentin levels were associated with a lower risk of diabetic foot disease;2 Omentin was negatively correlated with ischemic diabetic foot disease,this indicates that omentin levels are associated with a low risk of ischemic diabetic foot disease;3 omentin levels not be related to Wagner grading.
