With the rapid development of the economy,the change of the health concept,there is an ever-growing demand for high quality nursing talent.High-quality practical talents mean those who have rich theoretical knowledge and good clinical skills,solid knowledge of human and social science,sound professional ethics,strong nursing working abilities,can engage in clinical nursing.practice,management,research,education,community health service,prevention and healthcare service in medical and health institutions at various levels.Dual-qualification teachers who can engage in teaching in class and clinical nursing work,conform to the ideas of personnel training,is the important prerequisite and fundamental guarantee for the cultivation goal of applied talents.To establish scientific sustainable training system of dual-qualification nursing teacher so as to develop core competencies is the core of the construction of high-quality teachers and becoming an issue which needs solving urgently in the development of high nurse education.Based on the current situation,working experience and research interests,the author investigated the nursing teachers in Guangdong Medical University about the status and demand of in-service training by means of questionnaire and interview.On the premise of holding extensive data,with the method of quantitative method and qualitative method,this paper summarizes several existent problems of on-the-job training,mainly as follows:teacher knew inadequately of in-service training;the contents is not systematic with monotonous training form;Training institution was single;the on-the-job training system was lack of formative evaluation,system guarantee and incentive mechanism,and analyzes factors influencing the educational effort from individual reason,training system,system guarantee.By combining the experience of domestic and foreign construction of double qualified teachers team with the related theories,this thesis proposes the following solutions for in-service training of nursing educators in Guangdong Medical University:raising awareness of the importance of in-service training;a variety of models of in-service training;rich contents based on core competencies;the establishment of formative assessment;improving the security system and the incentive mechanism.It is hoped that the research results will have positive impetus and enlightening effect on the construction of the double-qualified teachers and provide reference for the on-the-job training activities of teachers in Guangdong Medical University.
