| Objective:The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of Four Gentlemen Decoction on enteral nutrition using for gastric cancer patients with operative indication and weakness of the spleen and the stomach.Through nutrition score,body composition analysis and serum nutritional index changes,we want to preliminarily evaluate curative effect of Four Gentlemen Decoction.Methods:Taking methods of randomized,controlled study,gastric cancer patients who treated in our hospital from January 2016 to December 2016 were randomly divided into treatment group and control group according to the inclusion criteria and the ratio of1:1.40 cases were male,and 32 cases were female,aged 38 to 66 years old.After 24 hours in hospital,vital signs of the control group and the treatment group were stable,and their enteral nutrition had no obvious contraindications.They were given RUIEN Enteral Nutritional Emulsion(TPF-T)support,meanwhile the treatment group were added 200 m four Four Gentlemen Decoction for the treatment of 1 weeks.With 24 hours in hospital and the end of treatment,we separately took peripheral venous blood to detect serum albumin(ALB)and prealbumin(PA)levels,test and assess nutritional score and body fat mass,body fat percentage before and after treatment,and record incidence of gastrointestinal reaction(nausea and vomiting,diarrhea and abdominal distension)caused by enteral nutrition intolerance.The measurement data were expressed as “ X ± s”.Comparison between groups were tested by “t”.Count data were tested by Chi-square.P < 0.05 had statistical significance.All statistics were performed using spss22.0 statistical software.Results:72 cases were completed the study.The control group were 36 cases,the treatment group were 36 cases.There was no statistical significance compared between the two groups in terms of age,sex,illness,ALB,PA,PG-SGA score and body fat mass,body fat percentage and other aspects.P > 0.05.it had Comparability.The PA,body fat mass and body fat percentage of the two groups were promoted obviously after 1 weeks,and the treatment group was higher than the control group(P< 0.05).The ALB of the two groups were no obvious changes(P > 0.05);the PG-SGA scores of the two groups were decreased after treatment,and the control group was higher than the treatment group.Compared with the control group,the treatment group had an advantage in the efficacy of Chinese medicine,and the incidence rate of gastrointestinal reaction(nausea and vomiting,diarrhea and abdominal distension)caused by enteral nutrition intolerance,the treatment group was obviously lower than the control group.Conclusion:For gastric cancer patients with weakness of the spleen and the stomach,added Four Gentlemen Decoction based on enteral nutrition support preoperatively can optimize the treament effectiveness of enteral nutrition and improve the intolerance of enteral nutrition. |
