A Study On The Biraiin Effect Of Compatibility Of Acupuncture At Exterior-interior Meridian Yuan-Luo Points Taixi And Feiyang Based On FMRI

Objective:Using the blood oxygen level dependent functional magnetic resonance(Bold-fMRI)technique to observe the changes of the brain activation signal caused by compatibility of acupuncture at the Yuan point-Taixi of the Kidney Meridian of Foot-Shaoyin and the Luo point-Feiyang of the Bladder Meridian of Foot-Taiyang,and to compare and analyze the results of the compatibility acupoint and the single acupoint.Based on this,we analyze the characteristics of the activated brain region caused by compatibility of acupuncture at Taixi and Feiyang,and compare the similarities and differences between the compatibility of acupuncture with the individual acupuncture,as well as discuss whether the activation brain region is related to the main treatment.Methods:A total of 18 healthy male right-handed graduate students in Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine were selected as the subjects of this study.Using the PHILPS 3.0T dua1 source dual gradient magnetic resonance scanner to collect the brain Bold signal data of acupuncturing the Yuan point-Taixi of the Kidney Meridian of Foot-Shaoyin and the Luo point-Feiyang of the Bladder Meridian of Foot-Taiyang.The data were processed and analyzed by SPM12 software.Finally,the location of the brain activation areas,the voxel value and the activation degree were obtained.Results:1.The positive activation brain region caused by compatibility of acupuncturing Taixi and Feiyang point including left cerebellum anterior lobe,cerebellum posterior lobe,medial frontal gyrus,middle frontal gyrus,inferior frontal gyrus,parietal lobe posterior central gyrus,paracentral lobule,midbrain,thalamus,cingulate gyrus(Ba32);the right cerebellum posterior lobe,middle frontal gyrus,superior temporal gyrus(Ba22),middle temporal gyrus(Ba37),inferior temporal gyrus,precentral gyrus,parietal lobe posterior central gyrus(Ba2),inferior parietal lobule,thalamus.2.There is no obvious negative activation brain region in the compatibility of acupuncturing Taixi and Feiyang point.Conclusion:1.The brain activation areas of compatibility of acupuncturing the Taixi and Feiyang point is not a simple superposition of acupuncture single point activated brain region;Compared withsingle point,compatibility of acupuncture has wider range of activation and stronger degree.2.The brain activation area caused by compatibility of acupuncturing the Taixi and Feiyang point is correlated with the clinical therapeutic effect.3.The influence of compatibility of acupuncturing the Taixi and Feiyang point on the brain regions related to physical cognition and motor function may be the synergistic effect of acupoint compatibility.
