The Affect For Patients With The Displacement Of Lesser Trochanter In PFNA

Objective: We compared relevant clinical data from patients who got different reductions of lesser trochanters in PFNA to find the effects of reductions.Methods: Collecting the datum from 53 patients suffered from fractures of type 31-A2.2,including(1)the displacement length of lesser trochanters after surgery.(2)the displacement length of lesser trochanters one month after surgery.(3)time of the fracture union.(4)hip scores one year after surgery.(5)complications.We divided the datum into 2 groups.Group A: the length >10mm;group B: the length <10(10mm not covered).Age,gender,sides and weight were analyzed with t test to check the relationship between the two groups.Hip scores one year after surgery,fracture union time and complications were analyzed with multiple linear regression & t test.Results: We got 46 cases finally with group A(19 CASES)& group B(27cases.)Mayo scores one year after surgery were 58.24±5.5 & 62.37±4.1 : Harris scores were 79.35±6.62&81.17±4.8,group A:p= 0.02&group B p=0.01.There is a difference between 2 groups.Fracture union time and complications were not related to different displacement length.Conclusion: Patients suffered 31-A2.2 fractures with the lesser trochanter displaced less in PFNA would get higher hip scores.Mayo scores one year after surgery and the Harris scores were higher in the lesser trochanter displaced less.
