Since the birth of the doctor,this career has assumed the mission of treating and saving people.To a certain extent,they can ease the situation and make people feel at risk.This has even cast a mysterious veil on doctors.In an era when technology is underdeveloped and medical conditions are limited,it can be recognized as a good doctor to retain life and promote some improvement in living conditions.However,with the economic development,social transformation and development,compared with the general science and technology leads the spectacle,the medical science is always less perfect,so the doctor was pulled down the altar.In the face of the media-oriented myth,from the "high price medical expenses" to "violence wounded doctors in the hospital of Harbin Medical University," an endless stream of medical incidents,the doctor's image in people's minds completely subverted,was pushed into the demonized situation.Actually,whether it is an angel or a devil,this is not a true doctor's image.The medical documentary is a new type of medical documentary produced in recent years.It is a 24-hours-a-hour interview with reporters in hospitals.It focuses on various types of patient medical procedures and uses the integrated features of the sound and picture of the media.The production of editing and the formation of the humanities and social documentary.The documentary has changed the narrative style of news reports in the past.With the help of the images in the shots,the characters,the patients,the family members,and the doctors are all present.The presentation of the images is more visual and intuitive,and the ideograms are clearer and clearer,producing self-evident results.This has a tremendous effect in relieving the current tension between doctors and patients and restoring the image of a genuine doctor.In the research field of journalism and communication,the research on doctors' media images mostly focuses on the research of paper or television media.Although news is based on realistic reports and pursues true objectivity,one-sided news reports are limited due to timeliness.There is a deviant phenomenon in shaping the doctor's image.Although the medical drama has a wide spread,the image is more vivid and intuitive.However,the fictionality of the art makes the appearance of the image deviate from thereality,and the image is too perfect,but it is even more demon.For the documentary that combines documentary and artistic forms,to some extent,it is the rectification of the doctor's image under other forms of media,which serves as a traceable source.This article adopts a case study method and takes three documentary films with the most representative,artistic influence and communication effects in China as the research texts,and analyzes the five different types of doctor images presented by the three.It also uses the analysis of narratology.From the aspects of narrative structure,narrative perspective and narrative language,this paper analyzes how documentaries construct the doctor's image.Finally,through comparative study of horizontal and vertical dimensions,it is concluded that medical documentary helps to eliminate stereotypes and reshape the image of doctors.
