The Influence Of External Application Of Dieda Ointment Plaster On Early Swelling And Pain After Total Hip Arthroplasty

Objective: To explore the effect of Chinese herbal of dieda ointment plaster on early swelling and pain after total hip arthroplasty.Methods: The patients who underwent total hip replacement in our hospital were selected as the research objects,They were randomly divided into treatment group and control group with 25 cases in each group.The treatment group was treated with self-made ointment of traditional Chinese medicine in the groin and thigh of the affected limb after operation,While the control group was given 48 hours of ice compress around the orifice of the affected side,he two groups were treated with the same anti-infection,improved circulation,anticoagulant and rehydration therapy.Compared to the two groups of patients with 24 hours and 48 hours of the drainage volume.1,3,5,7 days after the operation of the limb of the limb and the 1,3,5,7 days of the postoperative limb resting pain VAS score and observing two groups of patients with lower extremity deep vein thrombosis occurred following surgery.Results: At 24 and 48 hours after operation,the drainage volume of the treatment group was less than that of the control group(P<0.05);On the first,third,fifth day after operation,thigh swelling in the treatment group was lighter than that in the control group(P<0.05),On the seventh day after operation,there was no significant difference in the swelling degree of thigh between the treatment group and the control group(P>0.05);The pain VAS score of the treatment group was less than that of the control group third,fifthdays after the operation(P<0.05),There was no significant difference in pain degree between the two groups On the first,seventh day after operation(P> 0.05).There was no deep vein thrombosis in the two groups after operation.Conclusion: Traditional Chinese medicine ointment can effectively reduce the early swelling and pain of the affected limb after total hip arthroplasty,reduce the postoperative drainage and promote the recovery of limb function.Does not increase the risk of deep vein thrombosis in lower extremity.Traditional Chinese medicine is cheap,and local medicine,safe and effective,is worth promoting in clinic.
