Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of ionto-phoresis with modified Chuanhuangyi in the treatment of patients with knee osteoarthritis after total knee arthroplasty for the early swelling and pain with qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome,and to provide clinical reference for the promotion and application of this program.Methods: This study selected 90 inpatients who underwent unilateral total knee arthroplasty in orthopedics of Fuzhou Second Hospital from October 2017 to January 2019,and met the inclusion criteria.Collect basic information such as age and gender of these inpatients,and divide them into experimental group and control group according to random number table,45 patients in each case.The control group received postoperative routine swelling and analgesic treatment.The experimental group was given ionto-phoresis with modified Chuanhuangyi on the basis of this treatment.On the first day after surgery,the physiotherapy electrode tablets containing modified Chuanhuangyi were used for the treatment of the ionto-phoresis.The ionto-phoresis anode is placed in the futu,and the cathode is placed in the fenglong,and the appropriate output current is given according to the tolerance of the patient.The treatment is performed twice a day(in the morning and in the afternoon),20 minutes each time,and the treatment period is 2 weeks.On the 1st day before surgery,on the 1st,3rd,7th and 14 th day after surgery,The 3-inch above patella and 3-inch lower patella were measured.The swelling value was calculated and collected.Datas such as VAS score,serum CRP,erythrocyte sedimentation rate and plasma D-dimer were collected on 1 day before surgery,1st and 3rd day after operation,and 1st and 2nd week after operation.SPSS 20 was used for statistical analysis of data and P<0.05 was set as a statistically significant standard.Result:1.There were no significant differences in the basic datas of the two groups,such as age,BMI,gender,and surgical site(left knee or right knee)by SPSS20.2.There were significant differences in the The VAS scores,the swelling degree of 3-inch above patella and 3-inch lower patella,the plasma D-dimer,serum CRP,and erythrocyte sedimentation rate on the 3rd day and 7 days after surgery(P<0.05).The self comparisons before and after treatment were significant differences in the knee VAS score,swelling degree both the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion:The ionto-phoresis with modified Chuanhuangyi combined with conventional western medicine treatment is a effectively measure to improving the early pain and swelling with qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome after TKA,which is helpful for the early rapid functional recovery.It is worth further clinical promotion.
