Clinical Observation Of Qingyanjieedu Granules On The Therapy Of Children Acute Viral Pharyngitis (Toxic-heat Type)

Objectives:Observing and appraising the treatment effect of Qingyanjiedu granules on the therapy of children acute viral pharyngitis(toxic-heat type).Approaches:According to the order of seeing a doctor,60 children cases of acute viral pharyngitis(toxic-heat type)were divided by randomized-controlled trial united allocation concealment into Qingyanjiedu granules experimental group(30 cases)and PT control group(30 cases),after one week's continuous therapy,adopting double blind and positive control,observing the conditions of symptoms and signs of the two groups and the differences in gradation before therapy and after 7 days' treatment.Then making a statistical analysis of all test data by statistical software SPSS17.0.Results:(1)After one week,the results of curative effect evaluation showed that the effective rate of experimental group was 90.00% and that of control group was 80.00%.There was no significant difference between the two groups(p>0.05)by chi-square test,and the effective rate of experimental group was similar to that of control group;about the curative effect of two group,the result showed there was also no significant difference between them(p>0.05)by Wilcoxon rank sum test,it declared the curative effect of two group was alike.(2)It showed that there was no significant difference in the symptom total scores of the two groups before treatment(p>0.05)by t-test.So we could draw a statistical comparison between the two groups.After one week's continuous therapy,it came that had difference in the symptom scores of sore throat,thirst and fever between the two groups(p<0.05).It showed that the effect of experimental group on the symptom mentioned above was superior to the effect of control group.But no significant difference was seen in which of headache,cough,congestion in pharyngeal and sore and ache all over(p>0.05),that's to say,it had no difference in the effect on the symptom mentioned above.Conclusion:(1)Qingyanjiedu granules on the therapy of children acute viral pharyngitis(toxic-heat type)has good clinical effect,and the total effective rate reached 90.00%,similar to PT control group.(2)Qingyanjiedu granules is superior to PT about improving the children acute viral pharyngitis symptom of sore throat,thirst and fever.
