Objective:In order to alleviate the nurses' job stress and burnout,improve their occupation satisfaction and improve the patients' health outcome,the working environment of magnetic nursing in cardiology was established and the effect of the environment was evaluated on the nurses'job satisfaction.Methods:A convenient sampling method was adopted to select the nurses in the Department of Cardiology of a provincial third Class A Hospital of Shandong Province.Based on the magnetic hospital accreditation standard,the intervention study design was adopted to create a magnetic working environment for nurses.General information questionnaire,Essentials of Magnetism II and nurses' job satisfaction rating scale were used to measure before and after intervention.Using SPSS22.0 statistical software for data collation,input,analysis.Statistical methods include descriptive statistical analysis and paired sample t test.Results:1.The health status of working environment,overall job satisfaction and nursing quality of department of cardiology were evaluated.In the eight dimensions of Essentials of Magnetism ?,the support for training,the autonomy of nursing work,the clinical competence of adequate nursing staff,the clinical competence of colleagues,the support of nursing administrators,and the cultural values have all changed significantly.There was no significant change in health care relationship and control of nursing practice.2.After the implementation of magnetic nursing,the nurses overall satisfaction with the working environment was significantly higher than that before the intervention.There was no significant change in the relationship with colleagues and the recognition of work before and after the construction of magnetic work environment(P>0.01).Management,workload,work itself,wages and benefits,personal growth and development,and family work balance have improved compared with those before intervention,P values are all less than 0.01.3.The nursing safety management,graded nursing quality and ward management quality in department of the nursing quality detection have improved in different degrees.Conclusion:The construction of magnetic working environment can improve nurses' job satisfaction,optimize nursing work environment,improve nursing quality,and improve patients' health outcomes.
