As there are few research and reports on the investigation and treatment of cat dermatomycosis in China,the epidemiological situation of cat dermatomycosis in Shanghai was investigated in this paper.This paper compared the common methods of dermatomycosis in clinic,and compared the effect and incidence of adverse reactions of different drugs on dermatomycosis in cats,which provided reference for the treatment of dermatomycosis in cats.In clinical practice,in order to get more accurate results of dermatomycosis,this experiment selected 195 cats,which have any positive results of trichogram,skin cytology,and fungal culture on DTM fungal color medium,as samples.In these cases,we compared the sensitivity,advantages and disadvantages of 4 methods:Wood's lamp examination,trichogram,skin cytology,and fungal culture on DTM fungal color medium.Wood's lamp found that the positive rate was 84.6%,and the detection rate by trichogram was 78.5%,the detection rate of cytology was 62.6%,which was slightly lower,and DTM fungi chromogenic culture medium has the highest positive rate,96.2%,which can be used for further identification.To further evaluate the method of DTM fungal culture,52 cases were cultured in DTM chromogenic medium,and 50 of them were successfully cultured and identified that 94%of them were microsporum canis by strain identification.It is recommended that fungus culture should be used as the golden standard in clinical diagnosis.Wood's lamp can be used as a screening method for clinical cat dermatomycosis,and Wood's lamp can be used to assist the sampling of other examinations to improve the detection rate of other examinations.Investigation of one year's cat's case in the Shanghai Pengfeng Pet Hospital was made,and the incidence rate of cat skin disease cases accounted for 19.6%,and the cases of dermatomycosis accounted for 70.9%of the incidence of skin disease.Fungal dermatosis occurred throughout the year,with a high incidence from June to November.All ages were all affected,but the main age of onset was before the age of one.It accounted for 76.4%of the cases of dermatomycosis.Within one year of age,the high incidence rate occurred among 2 to 6 months old,which accounted for85.2%of the cases under one year old.After one year of age,the incidence rate decreased gradually with age.There was no significant difference in the incidence of disease in all varieties.There was no significant difference in the incidence of cat dermatomycosis between sexes.To study and compare the treatment effects of itraconazole capsules,terbinafine hydrochloride tablets and fluconazole injection,the experiment chose 80 cats with dermatomycosis for 4 groups,which were given itraconazole capsules,10mg/kg/day,the low dose terbinafine hydrochloride tablets,10mg/kg/day and high dose terbinafine hydrochloride tablet 30 mg/kg/day for 4 weeks and fluconazole injection,subcutaneous injections,once a week,four times in a row.The results showed that 10mg/kg/d of itraconazole and high dose of terbinafine hydrochloride in the effective rate of adverse reactions were 89.5%and 90.0%,respectively,and the low dose of terbinafine hydrochloride and fluconazole injection had lower effective rate.In terms of adverse reactions,itraconazole and high dose of terbinafine hydrochloride in the incidence rate of adverse reactions was 5%,and the symptoms are mild,after drug withdrawal they were soon return to normal.So,it is recommended that itraconazole and high dose of terbinafine hydrochloride can be effective drugs for cats with dermatomycosis.
