A Case Study On The Development Of Marine Fishing And Fisheries

The 21 st century is the marine century.As a global marine capture fishery country,China's marine fishing volume exceeded 10 million tons in 2019,ranking first in the world and becoming an important part of the world's marine capture fishery.The development has contributed to "China Power".As the largest archipelago city in China,Zhoushan has significant development effects in marine capture fisheries.However,in recent years,with the decline of marine fishery resources and the pressure of overfishing in the offshore,the development of marine capture fisheries has attracted widespread attention.This article takes China's marine capture fishery as the research object,and selects Zhoushan as a research case.The article comprehensively reviews the 70-year development history of marine capture fisheries in Zhoushan,and analyzes the current status of the development of marine capture fisheries in Zhoushan from the aspects of marine fishing output,fishing species,number of fishing vessels,power of fishing vessels,and fishing labor force.Based on data and data research and field research,this paper uses SWOT analysis method to systematically explain the advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and threats facing Zhoushan's marine capture fisheries.The analysis believes that Zhoushan has a superior geographic location,rich fishery resources,and a good fishery foundation and economic development.This is the advantage of the development of Zhoushan's marine capture fisheries,and has made certain achievements in the development of Zhoushan's marine capture fisheries.At the same time,the development process has also exposed the problems of high-security risks in marine capture fisheries,difficulty in supervision and low income of fishermen.In addition,the deteriorating fishing environment,unreasonable fishing operations,difficulties in changing production and industries,and imperfect systems,policies,laws and regulations have restricted the development of marine fishing in Zhoushan.However,with the formulation of China's fishery laws and policies,the huge domestic and foreign consumer markets,the establishment of national islands new areas,and China's strong support for the development of ocean-going fisheries,the development of marine capture fisheries in Zhoushan has encountered new opportunities.Based on the above analysis,the development of marine capture fisheries in Zhoushan should give full play to its advantages and seize the development opportunities.Starting from repairing marine ecology and protecting fishery resources,gradually adjust theindustrial layout and strengthen industrial integration.Promote the structural reform of the supply side of marine capture fisheries,promote the green development of fisheries,and rely on technology to develop digital fisheries.In the development process,it is necessary to improve the management level,increase law enforcement supervision,promote organizational construction,and improve legal play,so that marine capture fisheries can move towards the development track of high-quality modern fisheries.
