At present,groundnut pod breaking rate is low,groundnut grain damage rate is high,cleanliness is poor,and machine tool universality is poor.In this paper,a grinding disc groundnut sheller is designed by means of mechanical design,simulation optimization and experimental analysis.The main work and research results are as follows:(1)By consulting data,the working principle and existing problems of typical groundnut shelling machines in China were compared.Through field investigation,the present situation of groundnut shelling production in Hebei Province was analyzed.(2)The structure scheme of the grinding disc groundnut sheller was determined.The design of shelling mechanism and feeding mechanism,calculation and structural optimization of related components were completed.The whole machine was modeled by Inventor,and the prototype of grinding disc shelling mechanism was trial-produced.(3)By analyzing the force of groundnut pods,the main factors affecting groundnut pods shelling rate are the rotational speed of the grinding disc and the surface roughness of the grinding disc.EDEM is used to simulate the shelling process,and the force value of groundnut pods in the shelling process is obtained.(4)The damage reason,location and influencing factors of groundnut grain during shelling process were analyzed by using high-speed camera.The movement track of groundnut pod in grinding disc groundnut sheller was simulated by EDEM.According to the above analysis results,the improved design of the grinding disc,baffle and other related components has been completed.(5)Using single factor test and orthogonal test,the effects of grinding disc speed,grinding disc surface roughness and water content of groundnut grain on groundnut pod breakage rate and groundnut grain damage rate were analyzed by Design-Expert and Matlab software.The linear regression equation of groundnut pod breakage rate and groundnut grain damage rate was established,and the working parameters of the grinding disc groundnut sheller were optimized.(6)In order to further improve the production efficiency of groundnut mechanization,a grinding disc type groundnut shelling and grading machine with two-roll grading mechanism was designed.Inventor is used to build the three-dimensional model of the whole machine,EDEM software is used to simulate the grading mechanism,and the optimum speed of the grading roll,the grading accuracy and efficiency under the optimum speed conditions are determined.
