As a major corn crop, the related production equipment has been subject to people's attention. In a traditional corn thresher, its threshing operations primarily through the installation of the tooth with high-speed rotation on the spindle to ram ear of corn and stir to complete the impact on the corn ear damage with broken high rate. Therefore, the design of a new, low rate of damaged corn thresher for the production is of great practical significance. The body of the crowded Roll-corn thresher is mainly composeded by the grid (or screen)welded by the round steel which is larger than the maize grain. Spindle is a structure composed by push spiral and tooth board. During working, the tilting blade on the rotating spindle drives the ear spirally forward . In this process, the grid (similar to Cuoban) installed on both sides and bottom full access to and crowd the ear which is relying on the feed screw and tooth board of spindle to promote forward movement so that stress produced by rob and knead between the tooth plate and the ear, the ear and the ear, the ear and the grid will take off ear on the grain to achieve the purpose of threshing. This way is of weaker impact to the ear and of relatively soft threshing process , so the grain of corn caused by damaged far less than the traditional threshing way.The design process create the model mainly through the Pro / E modeling software, and use virtual prototyping software ADAMS and finite element analysis software ANSYS jointing the motion simulation.The design also analyze the movement and force of thresher and relevant components of the main shaft and identify a low broken sets , low injury ,optimization programme.
