Development Countermeasures Of Beef Cattle Large-Scale Breeding In Hebei Province

The beef cattle industry plays an important role in the whole animal husbandry in China,and the beef cattle breeding industry is the basis of the beef cattle industry chain.Since the beginning of the 21 st century,China’s economy has been booming and people’s living standards have been significantly improved,which has led to an increase in the demand for beef.According to statistics,the total global beef production in 2018 was more than 62.6 million tons,with the per capita share of 8.46 kg.The total beef production in hebei province was 564,600 tons,with the per capita share of 7.51 kg.The demand for beef is second only to pork.However,in the face of increasing beef consumption demand and constantly improving slaughtering and processing technology,the beef cattle breeding industry in hebei province is still in a downturn,with a low level of large-scale breeding,which is difficult to meet the market demand.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the development countermeasures of beef cattle large-scale breeding in hebei province.Firstly,this paper takes large-scale beef cattle breeding in hebei province as the entry point.By sorting out the existing literatures of domestic and foreign scholars,it summarizes the researches conducted by domestic and foreign scholars on beef cattle breeding,and finds that the researches are mainly conducted in the aspects of scale,cost-effectiveness and market share.Secondly,the development environment and related subjects of beef cattle scale breeding in hebei province were analyzed.And then to the current situation of beef cattle production in hebei province are summarized,and the superiority of development of livestock production in hebei province were analyzed,found that although such quantity in hebei province is located in the fourth national 16 th but breeding stock is located in the country,"" heavy numerous light phenomenon is serious,and the quality of the single,no breeding high quality varieties,where they are in the breeding management level is low,causing a cow breeding ability is insufficient,feed prices affected by a trade war with China to increase,leading to scale the cost income below the national average level;On this basis,through the way of field survey,select a sample of 50 scale beef cattle farms,arranges the research data analysis,using the minimum economic scale model calculates the minimum economic scale of beef cattle production in hebei province to 18 head and 33,in hebei province and the scale is far lower than the measured value,scale degree is low;Then,through the analysis of the advanced large-scale breeding experience in the United States,Australia,shandong and henan,the paper analyzes the advanced aspects suitable for hebei province to learn from,and explores the experience and methods suitable for the healthy development of beef cattle breeding industry in hebei province.Finally,based on the above research,it is proposed that the government should strengthen the support to beef cattle industry,improve the breeding system,improve the regulation mechanism,and actively respond to the trade war.According to local conditions,farmers should adopt appropriate scale development,improve their own breeding technology level,strengthen the prevention and control of epidemic diseases.The innovation of this study is the first to cobb Douglas production function and the opportunity cost theory as a foundation,has constructed the beef cattle breeding and stable development of the minimum economic scale model,through the study of the field investigation of scale farms in hebei province,about 50 copies of valid questionnaires in order to establish the minimum economic scale model,measuring the threshold value of beef cattle production in hebei province.Secondly,by studying the advanced mode of beef cattle scale breeding at home and abroad,and comparing and analyzing with the scale breeding of beef cattle in hebei province,the author draws the mature breeding experience that can be used for reference in the scale breeding of beef cattle in hebei province,and provides the countermeasures and Suggestions with reference value for the healthy development of scale breeding of beef cattle in hebei province.
