The aim of this experiment was to study the effects of glucose oxidase and catalase on immune performance of broilers,and to explore the feasibility of substituting antibiotic additives or antibiotic animal health products for broiler feeding,so as to provide reference for the rational utilization of glucose oxidase and catalase in broiler breeding.The nine treatments were as follows: the control group(common corn-soybean meal diet),negative control group(conventional diet supplemented with avermectin 0.05Kg/t),treatment group ?,and ? ?(added glucose oxidase of 150 g/t,enzyme activity is 1 000 U/g,2 000 U/g and 4 000 U/g respectively on the basis of positive control group),treatment group ?,?and ?(added catalase of 150 g/t,enzyme activity is 5 000,10 000,20 000 U/g respectively on the basis of positive control group),treatment group ?(added compound enzyme on the basis of positive control group,and glucose oxidase activity is 2 000 U/g,catalase activity is 10 000 U/g).The experimental period was 42 days,which was divided into 2 stages: 1-21 days old and 22-42 days old.The indexes were measured on 21 days and 42 days respectively.Results:1.Effects of glucose oxidase and catalase on production performance of broilers.Addition of 1000U/g glucose oxidase,5000U/g catalase,2000 U/g glucose oxidase combined with 10000 U/g catalase could significantly increase the daily gain of broilers for 21-42 days(P < 0.05).Addition of 1000U/g glucose oxidase,5000U/g catalase and 2000 U/g glucose oxidase combined with 10000 U/g catalase could significantly reduce the feed-gain ratio of broilers for 1-21 days and 21-42 days(P < 0.05).2.Effects of glucose oxidase and catalase on nutrient apparent metabolic rate in broilers.Addition of 1000U/g glucose oxidase,4000U/g glucose oxidase,and 2000 U/g glucose oxidase combined with 10000 U/g catalase could significantly increase the apparent metabolic rate of crude protein in broilers(P < 0.05).Addition of 1000U/g glucose oxidase,2000U/g glucose oxidase,4000U/g glucose oxidase,and 2000 U/g glucose oxidase combined with 10000 U/g catalase could significantly increase the apparent metabolic rate of crude fat in broilers(P < 0.05).Addition of 1000U/g glucose oxidase,and 2000 U/g glucose oxidase,4000U/g glucose oxidase,20000 U/g catalase,and 2000 U/g glucose oxidase combined with 10000 U/g catalase could significantly increase the apparent metabolic rate of energy in broilers(P < 0.05).3.Effects of glucose oxidase and catalase on immune organ index in broilers.Addition of 4000U/g glucose oxidase,5000 U/g catalase,and 2000 U/g glucose oxidase combined with 10000 U/g catalase could significantly increase the spleen index of broilers for 21 days(P < 0.05).Addition of 4000U/g glucose oxidase,and 2000 U/g glucose oxidase combined with 10000 U/g catalase could significantly increase the index of bursa of Fabricius for 21 days(P < 0.05).4.Effects of glucose oxidase and catalase on total protein,albumin and urea nitrogen in broiler serum.The combined addition of 2000 U/g glucose oxidase and 10 000 U/g catalase could significantly increase the total protein in serum of 21-days broilers(P < 0.05).The combined addition of 4000U/g glucose oxidase,2000 U/g glucose oxidase and 10000 U/g catalase could significantly reduce serum urea nitrogen in 21-days and 42-days broilers(P < 0.05).5.Effects of glucose oxidase and catalase on immunoglobulin in broiler serum.Addition of 5000 U/g catalase,2000U/g glucose oxidase combined with 10000 U/g catalase could significantly increase IgM in serum of broilers for 21-days and 42-days(P < 0.05).Addition of 2000U/g glucose oxidase,4000U/g glucose oxidase,5000U/g catalase,20000U/g catalase,2000U/g glucose oxidase combined with 10000U/g catalase could significantly increase IgA in serum of broilers for 21-days(P < 0.05).Addition of 20000 U/g catalase,2000 U/g glucose oxidase combined with 10000 U/g catalase could significantly increase IgG in serum of broilers for 42-days(P < 0.05).6.Effects of glucose oxidase and catalase on specific antibody in broiler serum.Addition of 1000U/g glucose oxidase,4000U/g glucose oxidase,2000U/g glucose oxidase combined with 10000U/g catalase could significantly increase Newcastle Disease antibody in serum of broilers for 42-days(P < 0.05).In summary,addition of glucose oxidase and catalase could increase the daily gain,reduce the feed-gain ratio,increase the apparent metabolic rate of crude protein and crude fat,increase the spleen index and the index of bursa of Fabricius,increase total protein in broiler serum,reduce urea nitrogen in broiler serum,increase IgM?IgA and IgG in broiler serum,and increase Newcastle Disease antibody in broiler serum.Addition of 2000 U/g glucose oxidase combined with 10 000 U/g catalase can replace antibiotics in broiler health care,improve broiler growth performance,feed digestibility and utilization efficiency,and improve broiler immune performance.
