As an important part of the agricultural space,arable land is an irreplaceable and important resource for human survival and development.In the context of urbanization,people's production and lifestyle changes,and then the demand for arable land changes,traditional single-function utilization has been difficult to adapt to the diversified needs of urban and rural residents.At present,the versatility of arable land is not comprehensive enough.Its main function is long-term considered to be a production function.The pursuit of arable land output and neglecting other derivative functions of arable land have led to the current arable land production model seriously exceeding the farmland ecosystem,and there is a large amount of land degradation and soil acidification.With the implementation of the national ecological civilization strategy,in the face of scarce arable land resources,how to scientifically and objectively understand the versatility of arable land,grasp the multi-function evolution law and the trade-off and synergy between multi-functions,identify the dominant function and its transformation characteristics.The functional characteristics of regional arable land are of great significance for the development of arable land functions,the promotion of multi-functional coordinated development of arable land,the realization of coordinated development of regional arable land,economic and ecological,rational planning of regional functional positioning and arable land protection.At present,the multi-functional research on arable land mostly focuses on the temporal and spatial evolution of various functions,and there are few studies on the trade-off and synergy between multi-functionality and the identification of dominant functions.Taking the county of Sichuan Province as the research unit,this paper first establishes the evaluation index system of arable land versatility,uses AMOS confirmatory factor analysis to cut the index,determines the factor load through the modified structural equation model,and then obtains the weight of each index.Calculating the multi-functionality of arable land in counties of Sichuan Province in 2005,2010 and2015,exploring the evolution law of multi-purpose space of arable land,analyzing the trade-off and synergy between arable land multi-functionality,identifying the dominantfunction of arable and its transformation path,and finally collecting through the system.Finally,the system clustering method is used to partition the study area.and proposes countermeasures.The main findings are as follows:(1)During the study period,the diversity of arable land in all districts and counties of Sichuan Province was significantly different.The higher-level and high-level areas of the national economic contribution of arable land are mainly concentrated in the eastern part of Sichuan.The spatial distribution of the medium-level areas has a decentralized pattern.The lower-level and low-level areas are mainly concentrated in the western Sichuan area,and there is a tendency to gather in space.The higher-level,high-level and medium-level areas of arable land food security function are mainly concentrated in the northeastern Sichuan,central Sichuan and southern Sichuan areas,and the spatial agglomeration trend is weakened.The lower-level and low-level horizontal areas are mainly distributed in the northwestern Sichuan.The scope is constantly expanding;the peasant community has a high level of employment and carrying capacity,and the high-level is mainly concentrated in the northwest of Sichuan,and the spatial agglomeration has a weakening trend.The medium-level area has a dispersed pattern,and the lower and lower levels are mainly distributed in central Sichuan.The area and scope are constantly expanding;the ecological security maintenance function of arable land presents a spatial pattern of “high poles in the north and south,low in the east and west”.(2)There are significant differences in the functional trade-offs and synergies between arable land.The national economic contribution and food security function of arable land are spatially synergistic,the synergistic enhancement zone is mainly distributed in eastern Sichuan,and the synergistic weakening zone is mainly distributed in western Sichuan;The national economic contribution and social employment carrying capacity are mainly characterized by synergistic weakening in space,mainly distributed in the eastern part of Sichuan;the national economic contribution and ecological security maintenance function of arable land are mainly represented by trade-offs in space,that is,there is a spatial pattern in which the trade-offs are different.The trade-off area is mainly distributed in the eastern part of Sichuan;the social employment carrying capacity and ecological security maintenance function of arable land are spatially weakened,mainly distributed in the northeastern part of Sichuan;the spatial security and social employment carrying capacity of arable land are not balanced and synergistic.(3)The dominant function of arable land in all districts of Sichuan Province shows a trend from single dominant function to multi-dominant function.The arable land function gradually evolved from a single function to a multi-functionality,and the dominant functions of the districts in Sichuan Province showed a significant difference in distribution.The main functions of western Sichuan and Liangshan Prefecture are the main functions of ecological security maintenance;the northeastern Sichuan,central Sichuan and southwestern Sichuan mainly take food security as the dominant function;the social employment carrying capacity is mainly distributed in western Sichuan;the multi-dominant functions are mainly distributed in two edges of the intersection,northeastern Sichuan and Chengdu Plain.(4)The versatility of arable land in Sichuan Province can be divided into four types and ten districts,The northeast of Sichuan,the western margin of the basin,and the Panning Anning Valley area is mainly dominated by food security,divided into agricultural production-oriented zone;central shallow hills,southern Sichuan,the Chengdu Plain is divided into high-efficiency agricultural construction zones with food security and national economic contribution as the dominant functions;Sichuan-Yunnan and Sichuan Northwest are divided into characteristic agricultural developments zone with ecological security maintenance and social employment carrying functions as dominant functions.The type of Liangshan and Qinba mountainous areas are mainly based on ecological security maintenance and national economic contribution,divided into green agricultural protection zone.The agricultural production-oriented zone should actively promote the transformation and upgrading of agriculture.The high-efficiency agricultural construction zone should focus on building agriculture.The characteristic agricultural development zone should strengthen its own characteristic agricultural industry,and the green agricultural protection zone should focus on the development of suitable agriculture that can be carried by ecology.
