Application Of Acupuncture And Moxibustion In Adjuvant Treatment Of Canine Pulmonary Disease

The author collected the typical cases of pulmonary diseases encountered in pet clinic,gave acupuncture therapy on the basis of routine treatment,and introduced the application and effect of acupuncture and moxibustion in these cases.Lung diseases are divided into two types:lung qi disorder and lung yin disorder.Lung qi disorder is divided into four types:lung qi deficiency,phlegm drink blocking lung,wind-cold bundle lung and wind heat invading lung,and lung yin disorder is divided into three types:lung yin deficiency,lung heat cough,and dryness heat injury lung.For the large intestine which interacts with the lung,the four diseases of large intestine fluid deficiency,large intestine,large intestine dampness and heat and cold diarrhea of large intestine are introduced.Finally,several common diseases are summarized and considered.The key points of dialectical treatment of lung and large intestine in acupuncture and moxibustion are considered emphatically.The evidence of lung meridian,heat syndrome can release the large intestine,which makes lung heat escape from the lower part of the large intestine.If deficiency of lung qi leads to constipation of large intestine fluid,it can nourish lung qi and moisten large intestine.In acupuncture and moxibustion,two kinds of acupuncture and moxibustion techniques were adopted,which were selected acupoints on the two meridians of Taiyin lung meridian and Yangming large intestine meridian to achieve the purpose of treatment.
