An inflammatory parasitic disease of dogs and, less frequently, cats that is characterized by an increased number of mites in the hair follicles, adnexa, and on the surface of the skin, which often leads to folliculitis, furunculosis, and alopecia. May be localized or generalized.Part of the normal fauna of the skin; typically present in small numbers.Pathology develops when mite numbers exceed that tolerated by the immune system. The initial proliferation of mites may be the result of a genetic or immunologic disorder. Dead or degenerate mites may be found in noncutaneous sites (e.g., lymph node, intestinal wall, spleen, liver, kidney, urinary bladder, lung, thyroid gland, blood, urine, and feces) and are considered to represent drainage to these areas by blood and/or lymph.Culturing dermatologic lesions for dermatophytes is always appropriate. Samples for culture should be submitted if fungal organisms (non-Malassezia spp.) are identfied in epidermal or aural exudates. Bacterial culture and sensitivity testing is often not required for the treatment of routine bacterial folliculitis in the dog. Bacterial culture and sensitivity is indicated when cases fail to respond to an appropriate antibiotic choice. Bacterial culture and sensitivity is appropriate if rod bacteria are identified in epidermal or aural exudates. In recent years, the rapid development of pet industry canine common disease and fungal disease diagnosis and treatment has become a concern of many pets doctor. In this paper, treatment of canine common skin acariasis and fungal disease diagnostic tests and common canine acariasis and fungal disease through 2011 April to 2014 February, the Taixing angels home pet hospital clinic on 240 cases of canine skin common disease and fungal disease in the case.Experiment 1:canine skin diagnostic test common acariasis and fungal disease, mainly using conventional inspection methods such as laboratory microscope body and spore, five family culture of fluorescent reaction, fungi and skin biopsy section observation of pathological tissue.Through the above statistics after the examination confirmed 160 cases of canine fungal disease incidence rate, the canine fungal disease incidence of Malassezia in horse was the highest, followed by Microsporum canis, the dog Microsporum gypseum lowest incidence rate. In addition, the relationship between dogs in Taixing area of common skin fungus disease incidence and month, age, sex, breed and site of onset is statistical. Statistics show that, dog common skin fungus disease incidence is highest in May, Chow Chow most prone, below 5 years old in male dogs, high, the highest incidence of ear.Experiment two:the treatment of canine common skin acariasis and fungal disease,60 cases with canine scabies, canine Demodicosis canine fungal disease in dogs and tested drugs. Compared to drug common canine acariasis of doramectin and ivermectin, canine common fungal diseases compared to terbinafine and itraconazole drug. This treatment were divided into 3 groups, wherein, doramectin group was 10 dogs and 10 dogs with scabies mite; ivermectin group for 10 dogs and 10 dogs with scabies mite; terbinafine and itraconazole group group with 10 rats in each dog fungus disease of dogs.Doramectin and ivermectin in canine scabies infection therapeutic effect in parallel, doramectin and ivermectin healing rates were 70%,80%, the difference was not significant. Doramectin and ivermectin total efficiency is combined with the effective recovery were 90%,90%, doramectin and ivermectin compared no significant difference. Doramectin and ivermectin in comparing the dog demodex infection in parallel treatment effect, result, doramectin and ivermectin healing rates were 60%,70%, the difference was not significant. Doramectin and ivermectin total efficiency is combined with the effective recovery were 80%,80%, doramectin and ivermectin compared no significant difference. Itraconazole and terbinafine in the parallel comparison of therapeutic effects of canine fungal infection, itraconazole and terbinafine healing rates were 80%,70%, the difference was not significant. Itraconazole and terbinafine total efficiency is combined with the effective recovery were 90%,80%, group itraconazole and terbinafine group was not significantly different compared.
