Cat kidney failure is one of the most common diseases of the urinary system in old cats. The function of the kidney is to use the excretory function to excrete the waste and regulate the water, electrolyte and acid-base balance to maintain the body's balance(Metabolism, hematopoiesis, and blood pressure regulation). The compensatory function of the kidney is as high as 75%.When it is damaged by higher than that, the renal function will fail. With the progress of failure, symptoms such as anemia, abnormal bone metabolism,or high blood pressure will occur. As a result, urinary toxins are excreted.Accumulation and metastasis in the body, there are many organ damage uremia, renal failure can be divided into acute renal failure and chronic renal failure according to its course, acute renal failure within one week after the onset of renal disorders,in contrast, chronic renal failure will take several months or even years before the kidneys appear to have low renal function.Cats with acute renal failure have polyuria at the initial stage, but oliguria at the end of the course or severe glomerulonephritis.Furthermore, obstructive uropathy is mostly anuria. With the onset of kidney failure,it will lead to abnormal water and electrolyte and acid-base balance in the body, and then there will be systemic clinical symptoms, showing uremic symptoms such as loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting and neurological symptoms. In addition to multiple organ failure caused by uremia, there are also cases of fatal illness due to cesium-potassemia and acidosis. The degree of dysfunction of chronic renal failure is usually four stages. The first phase of renal function is still more than 50%,it does not show clinical symptoms;the second stage of renal dysfunction-symptoms such as polydipsia, mild anemia, and sometimes weight loss occurs;Stage 3 shows loss of appetite, intermittent vomiting, weight loss, and anemia;· Stage 4 uremia-presents with digestive disorders such as vomiting and diarrhea, drowsiness, cramps and other neurological symptoms and multiple organ failure states, followed by Turns into a dangerous state. The cases collected in this study were collected from 20 patients with acute kidney failure and 20 patients with chronic renal failure at the Ruipeng referral center in Luohu District,Shenzhen. The clinical investigation, blood tests, blood gas, biochemical tests, and B Super diagnosed 40 cases of cats with renal failure. The principle of treatment is to suppress vomiting, regulate the body's water and electrolyte balance, and diuresis to remove toxic metabolites from the body.Using infusion therapy, peritoneal dialysis, hemodialysis and other treatment methods,in 20 cases of acute renal failure, the effect of infusion support therapy is not obvious, only 1 month after the treatment of the diseased cat,the kidney function has been Recovery, cured and discharged after continuous treatment. The cure rate is less than 10%(1/20).In another group of 20 cases of chronic renal failure, two different treatment methods, infusion support therapy and hemodialysis, were used. The cure rate of infusion therapy was less than 50%(9/20),and it was prone to relapse. The treatment cycle was long. The use of hemodialysis has a cure rate of 60%(6/10)and the treatment cycle is relatively short, but its treatment costs are relatively high.During the treatment period, hemodialysis requires strict burial of intravenous catheters and must be kept sterile.Operation to prevent complications, and one case of suspected renal cysts in a cat with chronic renal failure may be polycystic kidneys and die one week after treatment. The results showed that feline renal failure can be diagnosed by the clinical symptoms of its characteristics, detection of biochemical indicators, digital DR,and B-ultrasound.The principle of treatment for kidney failure is vomiting and correcting disturbances in the body's water and electrolyte balance.Infusion therapy and hemodialysis are the most common and effective methods for the treatment of chronic renal failure. The cure rate is as high as 85.7%.Acute renal failure generally has a poor prognosis. The cure rate of both methods is low. This study compared the different therapeutic effects of infusion therapy and hemodialysis. The results showed that conventional infusion therapy did not achieve the desired effect in the treatment of acutely ill cat kidney failure, the cure rate was low,and the cure rate of hemodialysis was 40%.(4/10).In cats with chronic renal failure, the therapeutic effect of infusion therapy was 40%(4/10),and hemodialysis was 60%(6/10).The therapeutic effect of the two treatment methods is not ideal, and hemodialysis may cause other complications, and the treatment cost is also higher. Therefore,it is hoped that this study can find an effective and reliable treatment plan, providing a new direction for future laboratory research.
