| With the rapid development of the pet industry in China,the number of pets has grown rapidly.Some infectious diseases and diseases such as stress,trauma,and tumors cause pets to have low immune function,which seriously affects the health of pets.Some traditional Chinese medicines have the effects of nourishing Qi and regulating immunity.Among them,Sijunzi Decoction is one of the classic prescriptions used so far.It has the effects of replenishing qi,strengthening spleen,and strengthening immunity.It has been widely used in humans and animals.This experiment combined with the actual situation of clinical medication of pets,optimized the traditional Chinese medicine prescription Sijunzi Decoction,and applied it on pet dogs to explore its influence on some immune indicators of dogs.It provides a certain application of Modified Sijunzi Decoction in the clinical application of pets.Experimental reference.METHODS: The first batch of 24 VIP puppies with similar body weight from 60 to 90 days were randomly divided into 4 groups of 6 in each group: high-dose(10% concentration)group,medium-dose(6% concentration)group,Low dose(2% concentration)group and blank control group,continuous medication for 14 days.Through the general clinical observation,blood routine indicators and blood biochemical indicators,the clinical drug safety of Modified Sijunzi Decoction for pet dogs was investigated.The second group of 24 VIP puppies of 60 to 90 days of age and similar in weight were randomly divided into 4 groups of 6 in each group: high dose(6% concentration)group,medium dose(4% concentration)group,low dose(2% concentration)group and blank control group.The experimental group was fed with different concentrations of Modified Sijunzi Decoction preparations,and ELISA was used to detect IgA,IgG,IgM and IL-4,and animals were tested for immune enhancement.Fifty dogs with clinically low immunity due to illness and other reasons were selected and given 4% concentration of drugs to assist in recovery treatment with a cycle of 14 days.And collect and sort the doctor's feedback after treatment.RESULTS: In the safety test,no abnormalities were found in dog behavior,body temperature,dietary desire,mental status,and other basic conditions after the medication.Feed intake increased during the trials in the medium and high dose groups,and no significant changes were observed in the blank group.No adverse reactions were seen in other states.There was no significant difference between the blood routine parameters and serum biochemical indexes of all groups before and after treatment(P>0.05),and the test results were all within the normal range.In the immunomodulatory test,the levels of IgA,IgG,IgM and IL-4 in the high-dose group were significantly higher than those in the control group and the low-dose group(P < 0.05),but not in the middle-dose group(P > 0.05).The lgA content in the middle dose group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P < 0.05).After treatment,the IgA,IgG,IgM and IL-4 in the middle and high dose groups of the test dogs were all higher than those before the use of the test dogs,and the test results were all within the normal range.Fifty dogs in the clinical expansion test found that the effective treatment rate was 88% in dogs treated with 4% concentration of Modified Sijunzi Tang after one course of treatment.Conclusion: The safety of clinical application of Sijunzi addition and subtraction has an enhanced effect on the immune function of dogs. |
