Study On Pharmacology Of Sijunzi Decoction Jiawei Salvia Miltiorrhiza In Piglets With Spleen Deficiency

Objectve: To study the effect of Spleen Deficiency on the intra-day changes of free radicals and T lymphocytes immunity ; To study these changes be partly modulated by taking Sijunzi decoction jiawei Salvia miltiorrhiza and to Sijunzi decoction jiawei Salvia miltiorrhiza therapying diarrhea of piglet caused by Spleen Deficiency offer theory guidance.Method: Eighteen healthy piglets were randomly distributed into three groups,six piglets each group of the healthy group,Spleen deficiency group(replicate Spleen deficiency modle of piglets by reserpine plus alternant method of hunger and satiation),Sijunzi decoction jiawei Salvia miltiorrhiza disproof group,which were carried out the study on the intra-day changes of peripheral blood super oxide dismutase energy and formation rate of E-rosette ,on damage of heart,liver,spleen,lung,kidney and intestinal caused by Spleen Deficiency and protect these tissues with Sijunzi decoction jiawei Salvia miltiorrhiza.Results:1. The peripheral blood SOD of Spleen deficiency group[ (93.29±6.14) (Nu/mL) ] were lower than those of the healthy group[ (128.04 ± 7.40) (Nu/mL) ] (P < 0.01) ;2. The SOD of the healthy group in 0h~4h were higher than those of the healthy group in 5h~12h(P < 0.05); The SOD of the Spleen deficiency group in 0h—4h were higher than those of the Spleen deficiency group in 5h~12h (P < 0.01) ;3. The SOD of the Sijunzi decoction jiawei Salvia miltiorrhiza disproof group in 0h—4h were no difference to those of the Spleen deficiency group in 5h~ 12h (P > 0.05) .The result showed that decline of the SOD of Spleen Deficiency piglets can be reversed by taking Sijunzi decoction jiawei Salvia miltiorrhiza;4. The formation rate of E—rosette of Spleen deficiency group were lower than those of the healthy group (P < 0.01) . The formation rate of E-rosette of Sijunzi decoction jiawei Salvia miltiorrhiza disproof group were higher than those of Spleen deficiency group (P < 0.01) ,but there were no difference with those of the healthy group(P > 0.05 );5. The pathological change of difference degreesoccurred in heart,liver,spleen,lung,kidney and intestinal tissue of Spleen deficiency group, but Sijunzi decoction jiawei Salvia miltiorrhiza disproof group with obvious descendent pathological changes.Conclusions:l. The peripheral blood SOD of Spleen deficiency piglets descended,but Sijunzi decoction jiawei Salvia miltiorrhiza can enhance the descended SOD caused by Spleen deficiency. 2. The intra-day changes of the peripheral blood SOD of Spleen deficiency piglets presented descendent trend,but these can be reversed by taking Sijunzi decoction jiawei Salvia miltiorrhiza .3. Cell immunological function of Spleen deficiency piglets was reduced, but it can be enhanced by taking Sijunzi decoction jiawei Salvia miltiorrhiza.4 . Not only spleen,liver, intestinal,but also heart,lung,kidney also present significant pathological changes.5. Sijunzi decoction jiawei Salvia miltiorrhiza can partly restore pathological changes of heart,liver,spleen,lung,kidney and intestinal tissue.6. Sijunzi decoction jiawei Salvia miltiorrhiza can be applied to treat diarrhe of piglets caused by Spleen deficiency.
