With the adjustment of national policy,localization of products in overseas markets,unpredictable social factors leading to the decline of orders and the increase of manufacturing costs,S company,as a manufacturing enterprise of LED lighting lamps,faces more and more challenges,which also puts forward higher and higher requirements for the quality of products of S company.Based on the introduction of the development and trend of quality management and the main quality management methods adopted by S company,this paper expounds the important position of six sigma in the quality management system of enterprises today.Then the theory and application of Six Sigma are introduced in detail.Then the manufacture of lamps and lanterns in S company is introduced,and the improvement project to reduce the DPPM of S company is carried out by using the quality management mode of six sigma DMAIC(define,measure,analyze,control)to solve the problem of frequent leakage during assembly.During the definition phase,the improvement project uses Pareto diagram to analyze various quality problems in the process of improving the pre-lamp assembly,to S the company's 2020 target as the customer's demand,to define the project scope,improvement content and project objectives respectively,and to estimate the financial benefits,and to set up the project team and formulate the project plan.In the measurement stage,the attribute consistency evaluation of the measurement system is carried out,and the process ability of the leakage problem is analyzed,and the three main types of leakage are analyzed by Pareto diagram.In the project analysis stage,the hypothesis analysis is used to check and verify the influence factors one by one,and the causality matrix and Pareto chart are used to determine the key influence factors of the defective rate.At the same time,the fish bone map is used to analyze the complex key factors in further detail,and the possible improvement measures are put forward.During the project improvement phase,detailed process improvement of each key factor is carried out,and then the improved PFMEA analysis and process capability analysis are carried out.During the control phase of the project,the improvement results and financial benefits are tested by tracking the improved process capability,and the control plan is updated and standardized documents are developed to maintain and consolidate the project results.Through the application of Six Sigma DMAIC,the defective rate of products caused by leakage in the assembly process of S company has been greatly reduced and controlled,so it also reduces the assembly and manufacturing cost of S company and ensures the brand reputation of the company.The success of DPPM improvement project of S company not only shows that the quality management method of Six Sigma DMAIC is feasible,but also provides good reference and experience for other quality improvement projects.
