Project management is one of the most widely used project management modes.The main contents of project management include progress management,cost management,quality management,human resource management,crisis and risk management,logistics and supply chain management.Compared with the direction of cost management and crisis and risk management,logistics and supply chain management,study and practice of domestic project management in the direction of progress management is weak.This article analyzes the project management of the innovative design of auto parts,and uses the world-renowned industrial company BOSCH in Shenzhen,China.As an example,the advanced experience of a component design company(hereinafter referred to as R Company)focuses on the methods and theories of progress management applied in innovative design.Today,In view of the background of the development trend of modularization,specialization and system integration in the automotive industry at home and abroad,the progress management of auto parts projects determines the project efficiency and affects the quality of the project,and also affects the degree of integration of innovative design in system integration.This article focuses on the main line of progress.The thesis first studies the theoretical basis of progress management and the main content of the management model.The content of progress management is divided into three research modules: project phase division,project planning and project progress control,which are imported for subsequent factories.This management model provides theoretical basis and process support.Secondly,analyze the problems of R company in product innovation design project,discuss from the two dimensions of innovation design project progress planning and progress time control,and find out the cause of the problem.Third,according to the specific problems that R company's innovative design projects have in the two dimensions of planning and time control,the progress management model is implemented within the company,focusing on strengthening the management methods and processes for the planning and time control of innovative design projects.Finally,sum up experience,propose corrective measures and form the theoretical research results of progress management.Through the promotion and application of progress management in the innovative design of R company,the working methods and work efficiency of project members have been improving,the sense of responsibility and cohesion of the project team has been enhancing,the project management personnel ability to manage and control the project progress has been improved.Product design innovation and upgrading have brought R company project management quality and product development capabilities to a new level.
