Design Of Series Appliance Under The Influence Of Guqin Culture

In recent years,many objects of traditional Chinese life has appeared in public vision again in the wave of promoting traditional culture.Guqin is the typical representative of these objects which are the symbol of national culture.The topic of this paper is ‘Design of series appliance under influence of Guqin culture',which is aimed at conducting research around the representative Chinese traditional instrument,Guqin arts.The aesthetic concepts implicated in the arts will be exerted and applied to modern product design,which is presented and expressed through appliance design.Around the theme of ‘Design of series appliance under influence of Guqin culture',the paper is carried out with the method of literature review,case study and interdisciplinary research.The paper can be divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction of research content,research status,research methods and innovation.The second chapter makes discussion around the theme of the origin and historical development of Guqin arts.The literati aesthetics and traditional Chinese music concepts are also discussed in this chapter.The third and forth chapters are the main parts of this paper.The third chapter exerts the aesthetic concepts of Guqin arts from the aspects of the style and construction of Guqin;the expression of the beauty of phonology of Guqin;the associated images of Guqin culture;the score and finger pattern of Guqin,which are the basis of design.The forth chapter proposes design concepts of this paper based on the research and analysis of cases.The design practice is carried out with related theme.The last chapter is the conclusion of the whole paper and the prospect of creative industries combined with traditional culture.The research of this paper is the process of understanding the life interest and ideals reposed in Guqin culture.It is also an attempt and practice of combining traditional aesthetics with modern design.The sense of symbolizing philosophy with objects of the ancients will renew vitality in the wave of revitalizing traditional culture and improving public aesthetics.
