Research On The Application Of Wabisabi Aesthetics In Product Design

In the field of contemporary product design,there has been a wave of design with the aesthetic criteria of “Wabi sabi”.Based on the aesthetics of the product design style,it has the characteristics of quietness,elegance and simplicity,which can fully reflect the harmonious relationship between man and nature.In the contemporary product design,the aesthetics of “Wabi sabi” aesthetics is mainly an aesthetic consciousness,lacking a systematic design theory,which is not conducive to the diversified development of product design.Therefore,it is necessary to deeply explore the application of “Wabi sabi” aesthetics in contemporary product design.Research,hope to lay the foundation for the formation of a systematic design theory,which has a positive guiding significance for contemporary product design practice.Through the elaboration of the formation and development process of “Wabi sabi”,this paper clarifies the characteristics of the aesthetic thoughts of "harmony","small","simple" and "hidden".By exploring the impact of esoteric aesthetics on contemporary product design and consumer markets,we learned the real value of researching aesthetics for product design and product markets.By analyzing the expressions of the aesthetics of the product in the shape,material and color design of the product,the paper summarizes the design method and thinking mode of the aesthetics in the modern product design,and provides guidance and direction for the future design.
