In recent years,BIM technology has been used in more and more construction projects,especially in large-scale and complex projects.BIM technology has been applied to the whole life cycle of design,construction,operation management of structures.At the early stage,the improvement of architectural design technology directly influences the design quality and the completion of the results.On the other hand,it also play an important role in reducing the project investment cost,improving efficiency and saving construction time.The traditional design technology is based on the two-dimensional design of CAD as well as its secondary development software.Differently,BIM technology is based on the three-dimensional modeling concept.The model contains a large number of construction project information properties,which provides more convenient and necessary information for design phase.BIM also has plenty of advantages for users,such as visualization,professional cross proving,engineering quantity statistics,auxiliary design,and check for design drawings etc.More importantly,BIM technology provides a platform for collaborative design between different departments,which greatly ensures the time-effectiveness,the quality of the design.However,the application of BIM technology is still immature in China's design industry.The forms of BIM application are diverse,such as project-level BIM-assisted verification,enterprise-level BIM-assisted verification,project-level BIM comprehensive application,enterprise-level BIM comprehensive application,and industry-level BIM consultant,etc.Combining with the project-level BIM-assisted verification,this paper focuses on the project case to study the optimization of BIM collaborative design,explore the workflow of researching BIM collaborative design.Based on Sun Heng's actual architectural design project,this paper focuses on the application and function of BIM collaborative design technology in the field of architectural design.This paper first investigates the development history and research status of BIM technology,and clarifies the importance of BIM technology in the field of engineering design.Then,based on the design of a residential building project of Sunhe,through the multiple collaborative design work involved in the application of BIM technology.The model is discussed and compared,and the targeted work mode is selected to provide technical support for the subsequent BIM collaborative design implementation process.On this basis,the various processes and synergies of BIM collaborative design in the project are elaborated.Pre-preparation,model design depth and results standards,organization and quality control of BIM collaborative design.Taking this as a starting point,this paper summarizes the problems of BIM collaborative design in this project practice and proposes improvement measures.The research results of this paper show that BIM technology can effectively improve the timeliness and accuracy of collaborative work of various departments,save resources and save costs for projects with high construction period pressure,complicated design links and high requirements for coordination among various departments.It is hoped that the research results of this paper can provide reference for the promotion and application of BIM technology in the field of architectural design synergy,and provide technical support for the informationization and sustainable development of China's architectural design industry.
