Scenario-based Smart Home Design Research For Elders

Under the background of aged trend of population in China,elder supported home mode is still the main mode of old-age.Studying the demand of the elderly,and creating a more safe,convenient,comfortable,dignified household life for them is the responsibility of each designer.Based on current situation of the development of smart home in the elderly,from the perspective of the older population segmentation,analysis and combing physical,psychological and social characteristics of the elderly.And to the existing intelligent household can offer services for the elderly and the existing problems,scenario analysis method applied in the field of design,and in the elderly in the design of smart home research paper summarizes and analyzes the necessity and advantage.And then to Beijing university of science and technology community as the research sample,the design concept of scenario analysis is used to sleep under the scenario of the old intelligent household design is studied.On sleep status quo and problems of the elderly,by building a character model and scene play,to sleep under the scenario of user behavior and problem analysis to explore the user's requirements,and then further interviews to users on the basis of the function of the specific design elements and design point,based on the real needs of old people.Finally through the product model and key scene walkthrough to validate the feasibility and effectiveness of design scheme.This article from the theoretical level,so as to study as a series of basic subject for the elderly in the research of smart home,some principles of research this kind of product or design method,enrich and perfect the relevant theoretical system;On the other hand,through the design practice of operable conclusions and solutions,more targeted and more effective to solve the problem,and to validate the effectiveness of the principle or method,to give some reference to other related design professionals.Make smart home products more easily accepted by the elderly,lower their barriers,let technology can better service for the elderly.
