Research On Design Strategy Of University Library Communication Space In Northwest District From The Perspective Of Environment-Behavior Studies

Under the dual background of the development of the times and the change of educational concepts,the traditional library space model has been severely challenged,and new and ever-changing new technologies have established a more extensive communication platform for libraries.As one of the most core architectural elements in campus architecture,the university library carries important functions of teaching and educating people,and inheriting culture.On the other hand,it is also a public space for academic exchanges and daily interactions.In the past ten years,with the continuous diversified demands and aspirations of library space for teachers and students in universities,we have explored in many aspects such as common space and informal learning space.However,although modern university libraries provide space for teachers and students to read and study,the space model is relatively single,and it lacks the spread and promotion of regional culture and campus spirit.University libraries should pay more attention to the exchange of students’ knowledge and ideas,so as a collection Information,culture,learning and communication.Therefore,the paper choose the northwest university library communication space as the research object,from the environmental behavior perspective to explore the relationship between environment and behavior,and put forward appropriate according to the status quo of the research of the communication space design strategy,thus in the field of architectural design to provide more detailed basic data and theoretical research;At the same time,it also puts forward some methods and ideas for the design of communication space of university libraries in other areas.The thesis is divided into three parts:The first part: Using the methods of information collection and analysis,this paper studies the communication space environment and user behavior pattern of university library from the perspective of environmental behavior,and further analyzes the relationship between them.The second part: Through the field research on the building of university library in northwest China,sort out and analyze the research results,summarize the design pattern of communication space and analyze the existing problems;Combining with the theory,this paper will lay a foundation for the further exploration of the communication space design strategy of university libraries.The third part: Finally,on the basis of summarizing the previous studies,this paper propose appropriate design strategies from the macro,meso,and micro levels,and use design strategies in combination with design practices to explore the creation of communication spaces.,and provides an example analysis for optimizing and designing the communication space of university libraries in northwest China,so as to make the research more comprehensive and objective.
