The ancient city of Hancheng is one of the six well-preserved ancient cities in China. It was identified as the second batch of historic cities in China in December 1986.In 1985,the first edition of Hancheng Master Plan established the development model of "separation of old and new",after which a large number of functions of the ancient city were replaced to the new city, and the old city began to decline gradually.Since2010,in order to revitalize the ancient city,Hancheng began to vigorously develop tourism. The function of the ancient city has changed to tourism-oriented.During the development process,a large number of historical relics have been demolished, and the spatial morphology of the ancient city has undergone dramatic changes. In this paper, the research methods of "factual state" combined with "evolutionary process","qualitative" combined with "quantitative" and case study are used. This paper starts from three aspects: the history and present situation of the ancient city of Hancheng, the evolution of its spatial morphology and its dynamic mechanism, and the study and evaluation of its key regions.Firstly,it sorts out the history and present situation of the ancient city of Hancheng from three aspects: location environment, historical evolution and the present situation. Then,it studies the urban spatial morphology, and establishes five elements of the spatial pattern of the ancient city of Hancheng, combining the past research and the actual situation of the city.According to the three major events in the history of Hancheng, the development of its spatial morphology since1949 can be divided into three stages.Based on satellite map, documentary data and field investigation data, this paper studies the evolution of thespatial morphology of the ancient city of Hancheng from five aspects: natural pattern, urban axis, plane outline, street pattern and defense pattern, combining with the three stages, and analyses the dynamic mechanism behind it.Finally, three key areas of Sanmiao,Jincheng Avenue and Huangmiao Ancient Block are selected to record their actual usage condition, including spatial and functional condition, and evaluate them through data investigation and field survey.Through the study of the above contents, this paper finds that the main factors affecting the evolution of the spatial morphology of the ancient city of Hancheng are the population before 2010 and the external investment after 2010;the construction of Nanmen Tower and Nanmen Square destroys the urban axis most seriously in the spatial morphology of the ancient city;the use of Beiying Temple in ancient buildings is worth learning. It also puts forward some suggestions on how to protect its spatial morphology in the future development of Hancheng ancient city.In this paper,we hope that in the period of drastic changes in the spatial morphology of the ancient city of Hancheng, using satellite image data and drone photography, supplemented by GIS analysis technology,we can systematically sort out the evolution of the spatial morphology of the ancient city of Hancheng in recent years, and record the actual usage condition of key areas. It is hoped that this paper can provide important basic information for the future adjustment of protection and utilization strategies of the ancient city of Hancheng, and contribute to the protection and development of the ancient city of Hancheng. It is also hoped that this paper can be an important reference for other scholars to study the ancient city of Hancheng. |
