In modern construction projects,the number of complex buildings is increasing,such buildings are often large-scale construction,project investment,high technical complexity,construction project cost management has become a top priority.The design stage is the key point of project cost control.It is very important to carry out reasonable and effective cost control in this stage.This topic will be Y project as an example,for the introduction of building information model(BIM)technology in the design phase of the special study of cost management.Based on the full study of cost control principle and BIM technology,this paper analyzes the current situation and problems of cost control in the design phase of construction projects,makes use of the characteristics of BIM technology combined with the characteristics of Y project,and makes a thorough study on the accurate calculation of auxiliary cost in the design phase and the reduction of design changes.Deep analysis and summary of the cost management effect of Y project based on BIM technology.The research significance of this topic is to combine the theory and method of cost management with the advanced building information model(BIM)technology and apply it to the practice of cost management in the design stage of construction project,to help managers find problems quickly,to avoid the production of invalid cost in advance,and to realize the fine management of construction project.To effectively reduce project costs and improve the efficiency of cost management purposes.It is hoped that the relevant research and analysis of this topic can be helpful to the cost control research of Engineering projects.
