Research On Planning Of Pocket Park

As one of the important carriers of urban green space,pocket park plays an important role in the renewal of urban public space.As a result of solving the shortage of urban public space and small green space,the study of pocket park planning has important theoretical value and practical significance.This paper takes Xiyuan pocket park in Huai’an city as an example,which discusses the layout and design elements of pocket park,and explores the practical problems of pocket park planning through empirical evidence.First of all,the thesis starts with the concept of pocket park,urban park and urban public space,focusing on the related theories of pocket park planning and layout and users at home and abroad,and analyzing the characteristics of typical cases at home and abroad,the construction pattern,as well as the enlightenment on pocket park construction in our country.Secondly,this paper analyzes the actual needs,behavioral patterns and recreational activities of pocket park users in the park,and makes humanized thinking on the design and planning of the park.Discuss the layout and design elements of pocket park: summarize the planning principles of pocket park,interpret the layout of urban pocket park under different classification standards,influence factors,design focus and analyze the spatial layout,expound the author’s understanding of each characteristic law and summarize the general law.This paper expounds the design details of urban pocket park from traffic design,landscape design,public facilities and other elements,discusses and summarizes the planning mode of pocket park that conforms to China’s national conditions and combines China’s national conditions.Finally,combined with the actual project of Xiyuan park in Huai’an city,this paper analyzed the behavior,demand and activities of the users of pocket park through questionnaire,interview and field survey,and further practiced the layout and design of urban pocket park and put forward countermeasures and suggestions.It is expected to provide valuable exploration for the planning and construction of the pocket park model in China and the improvement of relevant regulations and policies.
