Research On The Landscape Design Of The Pocket Park In The Old City From The Perspective Of Characteristic Cultural Construction

With the rapid development of cities in our country,the land resources in cities are becoming increasingly tense.Especially for many old urban areas,there are not enough space resources inside the area to build large-scale public places,and it has gradually been unable to meet the needs of the general public for daily activities in the new era.In addition,due to the lack of forward-looking urban planning at that time,the existing problems of the old city became prominent,such as imperfect public infrastructure,scattered abandoned spaces and unreasonable layout of the green space system,which greatly lost the vitality of the old city and further reduced it.The livable level of citizens and the overall image of the city.As a new type of urban park,the pocket park has the characteristics of small area and flexible site selection.It can be built into the old city in a―seamless‖ distribution method to activate its landscape function and rejuvenate the old city that has lost its vitality.Unique charm.Therefore,how to build a pocket park in the old city to improve its environmental quality deserves our close attention.Based on the above background,this article takes the creation of a pocket park with cultural characteristics as the starting point,with the purpose of improving the environmental quality of the old city and building a more livable environment.First,based on the basic research on the characteristics,functions,classification and related theories of Pocket Park,the current situation between Pocket Park and the public space in the old city is sorted out.Secondly,among the excellent classic cases at home and abroad,three different types of urban pocket parks,namely Perret Park in New York,Capitol Plaza,and Shenzhen Shekou·Dongjiaotou Metro Station Park,were selected for detailed analysis,and the current pilot pocket parks and parks in Guangzhou were selected.In-depth research on the existing pocket parks in the commercial district of Beijing Road,and analysis from the three levels of space creation,site culture intake and ecological environment creation,and found that there is a general layout design in the existing pocket park construction in my country.Problems such as lack of systematic planning,lack of population attributes and needs analysis,unobvious cultural connotations and characteristics,and imperfect allocation of public facilities.Combining with the guiding theories of the landscape design of the pocket park in the old city and the above-mentioned problems,the design principles and design elements of the landscape space of the pocket park are discussed,and a design strategy with certain reference and reference value is proposed,in order to promote the vitality of the old city and improve it.The landscape image and ecological environment quality of the entire city.Through the above research and analysis,the landscape design of Jiefang Road Pocket Park in Guangzhou’s Yuexiu District is carried out practical application research.The main purpose is to consider the whole of the park from the perspective of improving the environmental quality of Jiefang Road neighborhoods,combining the characteristics of Lingnan gardens,showing regional culture and inheritance Historical context.Combining the design principles and design techniques of the pocket park in the old city,the project design ideas are organized,and then the design strategy is applied.Guided by theory and practice,the scientific rationality of the landscape planning and design theory of the pocket park in the old city is tested in the reverse direction,in order to provide reference for the landscape construction of the pocket park in the old city.
