Substation is the key link of distribution network,which undertakes the distribution and transformation work in its region.With the gradual expansion of China's power grid,the number of substations is increasing,and more and more people need to participate in maintenance.The emergence of intelligent substation makes the substation electrical system operation rely on automation system control.However,in the basic operation and maintenance,it still needs manual participation,so it does not achieve the full significance of unattended.This paper mainly studies the design of intelligent substation monitoring system,devotes to improving the operation monitoring of intelligent substation,improving its operational reliability,and realizing completely meaningful unattended operation.On the basis of introducing the development status of intelligent substation and substation monitoring system at home and abroad,this paper analyses the existing problems of substation monitoring system.Then it discusses how to solve the above problems from the aspect of technology.Based on the analysis of the functional requirements and the overall structure of the intelligent substation monitoring system,the overall structure of the integrated auxiliary monitoring system of the intelligent substation is designed.This paper focuses on the sensor technology for environmental information acquisition,and analyses the different types of sensor technology,as well as the most suitable sensor technology for intelligent substation environmental monitoring.On the basis of technical analysis,this paper introduces the overall design of the intelligent substation auxiliary monitoring system,discusses the realization of each functional unit of the auxiliary monitoring system,compares and analyses different types of controllers,and determines the selection of S3C2416 controller.This paper focuses on the function design of RPU control unit in substation auxiliary monitoring system.Firstly,the minimal system circuit design based on S3C2416 controller is introduced.The Ethernet communication interface,RS-485 communication interface and SD card interface circuit are discussed in detail.Secondly,POE power supply circuit and small switch circuit are designed,and MARVELL 88E6321 switch is used to expand the function of Ethernet.Finally,the design of ZigBee communication circuit and switching input and output control interface circuit is introduced.Finally,the software platform of intelligent substation monitoring system is designed.The overall framework of the software platform of the auxiliary monitoring system is analyzed,and the characteristics of the software platform of the auxiliary monitoring system are introduced.Embedded software is mainly designed.Operating system selection based on ARM controller is analyzed.Embedded software program design based on Linux operating system is discussed.The design of Ethernet and RS-485 driver is discussed.The intelligent substation monitoring system designed in this paper can complete the real-time monitoring of various operating environments of the substation,realize the integration of video monitoring,security monitoring,access control system and fire control system,effectively improve the operation and maintenance management of the intelligent substation,and realize unattended operation.
