Most of the southwest China is natural disaster-prone areas because of the hilly terrain, so the substation and transmission lines have a high failure rate. The way that monitoring points to server for the previous meteorological monitoring system used is point-to-point. The wiring is complex and the cost is high, and is difficult to wiring in mountainous area, there also have other problems, such as poor anti-interference ability, unstable work and system testing accuracy is low. Aiming at the problems for the current weather conditions substation monitoring. To overcome these problems, we achieve real-time monitoring system substation meteorological environment, this system is based on simple wiring, reducing costs, flexible networking, great reliability and high transmission rate of wireless sensor network technology. The main research contents are as follows.1. Through the analysis of meteorological environment parameter, and according to "The weather forecast service provision term rating rules" to select the temperature, humidity, rainfall, wind speed, wind direction, light, atmospheric pressure, as the importance of environmental monitoring meteorological parameters. According to the complexity of mountain meteorological monitoring cable wiring, high cost and difficulty of wiring limitations. We use a wireless sensor network technology for real-time weather conditions, online, remote, and dynamic monitoring.2. The paper establish a wireless sensor network architecture based on micro-meteorology and according to the electrical industry standard selection procedures to monitor the characteristics of intelligent sensor nodes to achieve MANET. ALL of the above is using IEEE 802.15.4 wireless protocol and wireless sensor network protocol based on five architectures, we establish a communication channel through the wireless communication base station and gateway-way handshake, according to the electrical industry standard procedures monitoring feature to select the smart sensor node.3. This paper designed and developed the meteorological environment-line monitoring system by using multi-threading technology to prepare a communication protocol analysis program that will monitor the data stored in the database,and using the ODBC database access technology to access the database, and the data analysis and real-time monitoring is displayed on screen. Meanwhile, the server is set to a fixed electricity private network IP, to connect server and remote power private network, and then complete the meteorological environment monitoring system to achieve real-time, online, remote, dynamic, and other functions.4. This paper through the online monitoring system of meteorological environment to debugging and running, we research on real-time monitoring of data duplication, loss and treatment and complete the relevant meteorological data conversion parameters. We select the meteorological environment typical environmental parameters (temperature, humidity and light) and analysis the change trend of single day and the days to provide reliable meteorological information for the safe operation of power and substations.
