Research And Application Of Zodiac Culture In Minimalist Product Design

Zodiac culture is the most extensive mass-based traditional culture in China,has the more important impact on people's daily life and spiritual beliefs.In order to ensure that the zodiac culture achieves better inheritance and development under the premise of adapting to the trend of the times,it is necessary to carry out innovative design that conforms to the times with the carrier of its cultural communication.With the development of minimalist product design,its design concept and aesthetic principles gradually influence and change people's lives,people began to pay attention to the beauty of simplicity,advocate a simple way of life,simple concept of life.Therefore,this paper puts forward the idea of applying zodiac culture to minimalist product design.This paper takes the research and application of zodiac culture in minimalist product design as the topic,and takes the Chinese traditional zodiac culture as the research scope,researches by literature reading method,inductive deduction method,case analysis method,questionnaire survey method,and so on.From the historical angle as well as the cultural angle deeply analyzes the zodiac culture,collects and collates the excellent application cases of zodiac culture in two-dimensional visual design and three-dimensional product design,studies and summarizes its laws and characteristics,and explores its development trend.Studies and learns the relevant knowledge of minimalist product design,deeply understands the zodiac culture,seeks the way to apply zodiac culture to minimalist product design,and get a set of reasonable feasible and original zodiac cultural theme minimalist product design scheme,so as to realize the combination of zodiac culture and minimalism product design.It is hoped that the conclusions of this paper can provide some reference for the combination of traditional culture and modern design in the future.
