Study On The Planning Of Residential Space System In The Central Urban Area Of Guangzhou From The Perspective Of Life Circle

Stepping into the new era of socialism with special Chinese characteristics,the principal contradiction in our society has been transformed into the “the contradiction between the people’s growing demand for a better life and the unbalanced and inadequate development”.As people’s basic requirements on settlement,it turns into necessary to sort out and improve the living space,in order to fulfil people’s yearning for a better life.Since 2016,the concept of “Life circle” was first put forward from each level of nation,province and municipality.Beijing,Shanghai,Wuhan and other domestic cities are increasingly paying more and more attention on the community development and social governance,Community life circle or relevant planning is being widely conducted to promote community construction.Compared with megalopolis such as Beijing,Shanghai,Tianjin,etc.,the permanent residents of Guangzhou keeps higher growth rate with greater demand of community planning and construction.At the same time,the survey of residents’ demand in Guangzhou indicates that Guangzhou holds the relatively good facilities of most basic public service.However,as the proportion of the elderly and the children population increasing constantly,the diversity of the population structure puts forward higher requirements on community planning and construction.Some upgraded service facilities fail to meet the increasingly diversified demands of the population,therefore it is necessary to build the residential groups at the meso level and put forward the differentiated development strategy.On the other hand,upon the working practice of planning management,it is found that the current boundary of planning management does not coincide with the administration,which has affected the cohesion between the living space and administrative system,and the management requirements fails to transform into the subject of planning implementation,namely the working contents of administration unit.Meanwhile it is quite difficult to implement the construction requirement of living space into specific aspects of planning management,and difficulty to ensure its implementation.Consequently,it becomes necessary to build a living space system that meets the travel scale for residents,optimize and adjust the space supply of public service facilities,and establish a spatial connection with administrative units to promote the implementation of planning.This paper first sorts out some cases of domestic and overseas city life circle and living groups,which provides experienced reference for dividing living groups and planning community service facilities guidance.Next,investigation is performed on the Guangzhou present situation of residential land and population distribution,so that to make judgement on current living space status,development features and patterns;understand the community public service demand,analyze the matching degree of current public service supply situation and population demand on account of representative community investigation.Finally,the residential space system of Guangzhou is constructed,the residential groups in central urban areas are divided,and the differentiation development strategy is eventually proposed for the three models as local improvement,functional enhancement and cultivation development.
