With the advent of the national fitness era,the number of leisure fitness-oriented sports buildings in China's colleges and universities has increased.Single-layer gymnasiums are replaced by multilevel ones for the reasons of the shortage of land resources,limited capital budget and diverse functional requirements.Based on the project Recreational Sport Centre in Quantum Institute of University of Science and Technology of China,this thesis has studied and summarized the design principles and methods of multilevel recreational sports centres from the aspects of function and technology,and presented the complete architectural design process.This thesis is divided into two parts.The first part is consisted of the working drawings and analysis graphs of this project.The second part is the research report.This part contains four chapters.In the first chapter,several projects are selected and analysed to study the correspondence between the scale and the spatial organization forms,aiming to get an overall understanding of these buildings.The second chapter summarized the combination principles of multilevel sports space from the aspects of selection of sports field size,integration modes of functional space,combination modes of sports and auxiliary area,traffic streamline organization and public space design.The third chapte shows the architecture design process of scheme generation and depth subdivision from the site layout,multilevel organization of function,traffic system and public space.The fourth chapter researched on structure systems and energy-saving technologies of multilevel recreational sport centres.Based on the engineering practice,this thesis analyzed,researched and summerised the design methods of recreational sport centres.Hoping this thesis can provide a useful reference for the same type of architectural design.The thesis totally has 29000 words and 68 illustrations.
