With the acceleration of urbanization,the urban population of China keeps rising,and the urban areas has become the main place for people to live.However,as the disordered development in the urban areas,which including high building density and population concentration,the urban climate environment is deeply affected.Urban heat island effect,urban turbid island problem and other urban problems keep occurring frequently,which is inconsistent with people's living requirements-comfortably and healthy for urban areas.Especially in the fragile ecological environment,like coastal cities,the existing urban blocks,whether thermal environment,air quality or other living conditions,have not been able to meet people's living quality requirements.Therefore,it is urgent to study the strategy of building comfortable blocks in cold coastal cities.In this paper,Dalian,a typical cold coastal city,is selected as the research objection.the micro climate environment in the Dalian's city blocks are analyzed through adopting the research methods of literature research,field measurement,data normalization,simulation model and correlation analysis,etc.Firstly,this paper divides the blocks in Dalian city,and statistics the spatial morphology data of each block to discuss the spatial morphology distribution of the blocks in Dalian city.Then,important nodes related to the urban environment were selected for micro-climate monitoring,and the measured data were normalized to grasp the micro-climate conditions of Dalian in winter and summer respectively,and analyze the relationship between the spatial form of blocks and various elements of micro-climate.The outcome shows that the air pollutants are deeply affected by the distribution of pollution sources.The thermal environment is the main factor affecting the comfort of the outdoor space of the block,and the block spatial form has a significant impact on it.This paper selected four typical blocks to carry out the strategy research on building comfortable blocks according to different block form.ENVI-met software is used to simulate the thermal comfort of typical blocks to obtain the distribution of micro climatic factors such as temperature,humidity,solar radiation,wind speed and direction.The PET was used as the thermal comfort evaluation index,which was calculated by BioMet to analyze the thermal comfort in blocks.It shows that the thermal environment of typical blocks is not comfortable in summer and winter,direct solar radiation and wind speed are important factors affecting the distribution of PET,and the building form of blocks has a great influence on these two factors.Therefore,the building form of blocks was refined and simplified into building distribution,building spacing and building orientation.In the meanwhile,the strategy of building comfortable blocks was studied according to the existing problems in these typical blocks,the building improvement strategies are put forward.The research shows that the strategies proposed in this paper can effectively improve the thermal comfort of the blocks,which is conducive to creating a comfortable living environment in the blocks.In this paper,through discussing the morphological distribution between blocks in the main urban area of Dalian city and simulating the microclimate of blocks,there is a reference significance to the research of the microclimate and urban planning of Dalian city.There is also a theoretical value to explore the important factors affecting thermal comfort through the analysis of micro-climate simulation to study the micro-climate of small scale in Dalian city.The application of micro-climate simulation software to block planning and design demonstrates the practical significance to improve the quality of living environment and build a harmonious and comfortable outdoor environment.
