With the continuous expansion of urban construction,population agglomeration and the urban central area increasing year by year,urban climate problems have begun to appear in many cities in China,such as poor ventilation,air pollution,and urban heat islands.In order to solve these problems,it has become imperative to improve the quality of the wind environment within the city.However,how to alleviate the static and steady wind conditions of the city from the urban planning and architectural design scales remains to be further studied.At present,there are many research results related to urban ventilation paths,but these results are too macroscopic as a basis for urban planning and architectural design,and cannot quantitatively evaluate or guide the planning and design of urban air paths specifically.At the same time,the urban form and climatic conditions of cities are very different.The urban wind path planning strategy should be adapted to local conditions.The article aims to use the GIS platform to study the urban ventilation path planning design and evaluation system applicable to Dalian Zhongshan District.By studying the relevant domestic and international research status analysis,starting from the construction method of urban air path,providing scientific and technical support for the theory of urban planning path.Taking Zhongshan District in Dalian as an example,measuring urban surface roughness by frontal area index and scientifically quantifying the impact of urban form on urban wind environment.With the help of GIS platform for numerical simulation,the appropriate urban shape parameters were selected to construct the urban wind tunnel simulation model,and the frontal area index maps of 16 wind directions were calculated,which made the simulation results more comprehensive and accurate.According to the frontal area index map,the minimum wind path method is used to calculate the potential wind channel map in the Zhong Shan area.Combined with the city’s dominant wind direction,urban roads and architectural forms,the ten urban air paths in Zhongshan District are determined.A plurality of measured points are selected in the air path and outside the air path,and the reliability of the computer simulation is verified by comparing the average wind speed and temperature of the measured results inside and outside the air path.Finally,a number of air-crossing areas in the study area are selected to carry out greening renovation in the airway,increase the green area of important areas,propose a greening landscape improvement strategy in the airway,and alleviate the thermal environment in the central area of the city.At the urban planning scale,integrating the ecological landscape resources within the city,improving the quality of the urban wind environment by planning urban greening,opening up the ecological wind channel inside the city.By these strategies to plan and determine the urban ventilation channel.Suggestions on building density,building height and building combination in the wind tunnel from the perspective of urban design.Through these design methods,we will improve urban air quality,improve the urban wind environment,and jointly create a sustainable city.
