In the background of the aging of the world population, the pension problem has aroused wide attention and hot discussion in the whole society. Our country and the world almost entered the aging society simultaneously. At the same time,China has become the only country with an old population of over 100 million.Compared with other aging countries,China is affected by the economic development level and family planning policies. The main characteristics of the aging population in China are the large number and fast growth rate with obvious differences between the regions.According to the census data in 2010,the family structure in China showed a trend of miniaturization. In the group of people who are 60 to 75 years old,the number of the old couple living alone was over 30% and it was over 37% of the group of the old who are 60 to 70 years old, which shows more prominent of the younger old couples living alone. The living environment of the elderly and their houses was taken as the research object in this article, finding that with the increasing of the age and the change of the physical condition of the elderly, not only spend more time interior, but the degree of the depending for interior could increase also,it is so crucial for the elderly to have a comfortable and security interior phenomenon, and the existing interior living condition can not meet the demand of retirement for the elderly yet.therefore,by the method of reading documents or data, analysis of cases, site investigation and questionnaire, analyse the actual demand and restricting factors of living and retirement for first, know the hysical and psychological characters of the elderly, based on these and then analyse the theories and cases about the optimal aging.second, found that the interior demand of the elderly and the actual living condition has a great difference by the field investigation, the difference reflect on the line planing of interior, the color scheme, theuse of materials and Interior decoration and other deal on details on main, some unreasonable designs are not only inconvenient to the elderly, but also could be a potential security concerns.at last,by the analysis of results from the questionnaires, the actual demand of part functional space of interior for the elderly has more clearer, compared with the analysis of data and actual research status, provide a support for designing.and then,by the characters of the elderly and analysis of relevant aging cases, combine with the actual demand of the elderly in research and the current situation of interior design for adapting the elderly, put forward a strategy for adapting aging that interior design under Home-based care style, when we design for the elderly,we should consider security, healthy, convenience, sustainability and emotional as a design principle,to meet the demand requirement for the various elderly,At the same time based on the practical principle of suitable aging,This paper puts forward relevant design methods for proper aging in terms of dynamic line organization, visual access,,color identification, functional recombination, storage optimization and connection of multiple senses. In order to be able to in the aging process of the elderly,Interior design can still maximize the needs of the elderly in different health conditions. In addition,Further combining the features of intelligent home,It provides a new idea for interior design suitable for aging.at last,Combine theory with practice,Carry out interior design practice for aging.Analyze the status quo of the original house type and make improvement.Organize spatial function reasonably,To build a comfortable indoor environment for the elderly, improve the quality of life in their old age,and also provide reference for the design work for future aging.
