Lhasa is cold in winter and has a long heating period,so the heating energy consumption of local buildings is generally high.At the same time,Lhasa has abundant solar energy resources.Whether based on annual radiation intensity or clear sky index,Lhasa is located in the most concentrated area of solar energy resources in China,which provides a good condition for building to use solar energy to reduce heating energy consumption.In recent years,the development momentum of Lhasa collective housing is rapid.Considering many factors such as urban spatial layout and solar energy utilization,it can be found that multi-storey housing is a potential type of local collective housing,so it has great research value.This paper is divided into six chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly introduces the research background,scope,content,and methods of this paper.The second chapter is the investigation of the status quo of multi-storey houses in Lhasa,passing through the city of Lhasa.The field research,measurement and construction drawing of the residential buildings to understand the current situation of multi-storey residential units and solar energy utilization in Lhasa;the third chapter is the thermal principle analysis of solar energy in buildings and the three basic forms of thermal processes.The fourth chapter is a summary of the solar design strategy,the design strategy is divided into space design strategy and interface design strategy.The fifth chapter is the analysis of solar energy design strategy in the design and application of multi-storey residential buildings in Lhasa.The first two chapters combine the principle and strategy analysis with the design of multi-storey residential buildings in Lhasa,and the energy-saving effect of design through Designbuilder software.The data is validated to arrive at a local solar building design model suitable for Lhasa.The main results are:(1)The orientation of the multi-storey house should be about 15° east and south,and try to avoid the westward bias.(2)Multi-storey houses should give priority to the planes with large openings and short depths.(3)The north berth of a multi-storey residential building should be connected to the southward space as much as possible to enhance the thermal convection effect of the north and south space.(4)The south-facing balcony and the north-south two-way balcony can enhance the extraction,distribution and preservation of solar radiant heat.(5)The application of heat collecting wall,Low-E glass and hollow roof in multi-storey residential buildings not only can separate the external and external protective structures,but also the solar radiant heat extraction and storage performance.The heating energy consumption of the residential buildings is greatly reduced,which plays an energy-saving role.In the last chapter of this article,the author applies the theory summarized in the previous chapters through a multi-story residential design.
