The climatic conditions in the hot-summer and cold-winter area are poor, the summer is hot,and the winter is wet and cold, which has a high demand for the climate adaptability of architecture. The architectural landing space,as a buffer layer between the bottom of the building and the external environment, plays a positive significance to the energy conservation of the modern architecture,by the the thermal buffer effect to reduce the impact on the internal environment. Therefore, this paper mainly discusses the thermal buffering strategy of the architectural landing space to improve the internal environment better.Firstly, this paper starts from the landing modes, landing forms, and draws the research object: the architectural landing space, then summarizes the principles and methods combined with the climate adaptability technologies of the landing space in the traditional dwellings.Secondly, from three aspects of space form, the degree of enclosure and the combination mode, the landing space is classified,to have a comprehensive and clear understanding of it;following the development trend of architecture, systematically expounds layout features and design methods, based on a large number of cases. Finally,by analysis of the actual measurement and software simulations,we try to find some rules and characteristics about the thermal environment and natural draft of the landing space, and explore the design strategies of the architectural landing space in the hot-summer and cold-winter area,to provide the new design ideas and references for the ground floor design.Through theoretical analysis and simulation, this paper proposes to choose the appropriate architectural landing space form, and optimizes it by spatial combination, which as a climate adaptive design method to provide the positive thermal buffering effect for architecture.
