The climate in hot-summer and cold-winter area is complexed and strongly changeable,which takes a great challenge to the energy saving of architecture.With the development of the architecture theory,the concept of“Building Chamber”emerged to discuss the climate adaptability of architecture.Building chamber creates a layer of buffer between the building and the environment,which plays a protective role to the main body of the building and has a positive significance to the energy conservation of modern architecture.Based on the study of“Building Chamber”by previous scholars,this paper discusses the application of building chamber and proposes the ecological strategy to construct the chamber into a thermal buffer space in the office building,in order to improve the indoor microclimate.Firstly,this paper gives a new definition of building chamber that all the building space and the building components improving the indoor microclimate,and also combined with previous research data,systematically summarizes the mechanism and method of building chamber.Secondly,from 3 aspects of space position,function type and combination mode,the chamber is classified and interpreted,to have a comprehensive and clear knowledge of contemporary building chamber and to summarize two space layout methods of chamber:embedded and attached.The third and fourth chapters of this paper are the core research contents in which the embedded and attached chambers are analyzed in detail,combined concrete cases and the corresponding software simulation study.In chapter 3,Ecotect software is used to simulate the thermal environment of different types of atrium,to explore the influence factors of atrium thermal buffer effect,and to propose the ecological energy conservation strategy of atrium.The 4th chapter,by using Airpak software,setting up different types of simplified model of double-skin fa?ade,simulate the thermal pressure ventilation effect in summer,to explore the influence factors of ventilation effect,and to propose the ecological energy conservation strategy of DSF.Through these software simulation analysis,the purpose is to obtain some regularity consensus principle and design strategy,in order to have certain reference significance to contemporary architectural design.Finally,I will use the conclusion and strategy drawn above in the project design--Business Office Center of Taizhou high-tech Zone,to provide practical reference for the optimization design of the chamber.This research selecting the representative in the project of high-rise office tower and the lower neighborhood center with great depth as examples,discuss energy-saving optimization design of chamber in different types,different scale of office buildings.In the design of the low-rise neighborhood center with great depth,there is a combination of the one-way south atrium and the central atrium,collaboratively working.For high-rise buildings,the south atrium unit is adopted for the core tube being in the center.In terms of the application of Double-Skin-Facade,the type choosing of the unit figure depends on the architectural modeling design,however,it will refer to optimum ratio of height-thickness and the inlets and outlets area account.This chapter aims to provide practical reference for the optimization design of the chamber through the targeted design of the practice project.
