The climate feature in Hot-summer and Cold-winter zone in China differs largely to each other and goes easily to extremity particularly in the summer and in the winter. For another thing the climate feature is graver compared with other identical latitude zone. Simply applying the strategies practiced in the freezing zone will inevitably fall into dilemma and fails to solve the opposite requirements properly. Under this condition, the author tried to introduce and analyzed the architectural Chamber Space Design in Hot-summer and Cold-winter zone so as to providing an comfortable interior space of high-efficiency but low-consumption.Firstly, based on some previous research work, with the enlightenment from Morphological Bionics and Architectural Bionics, the paper put up with chamber space and other terminologies, summarized some common characters of chamber space. Then the paper demonstrated the feasibility of the strategy chamber space in Hot-summer and Cold-winter zone.Secondly it analyzed the natural elements of the architectural chamber strategy, such as wind, light, water and so on. The paper attempted to analyze approach on improving the interior environment, which was based on analyzing the relation between natural elements with chamber space.Part III, the author attempted to discuss the Architectural Chamber .Space ,which was suited for the climate feature in Hot-summer and Cold-winter zone in China. This part is the core of the essay.Last, the author put up the Chamber Space Strategy .which was suited for the climate feature in Hot-summer and Cold-winter zone in China.Based on the above analysis, trying to discuss the relation between the interior environment and form of space the author want to offers new visual angle and resources for study in architectural creation and energy conservation.
